I'm also high on Terry's future... admittedly though not so much with this team. Our other young players can see minutes at multiple positions, but Terry is a straight PG. If we we get the opportunity to draft a Fultz it would be unfair to stifle his potential here. I think a team like Denver or Sacramento should really be eying his development

IMO He doesn't look like a starting PG. His passing, and PG skills are average at best, and even in college he wasn't a distributer of the ball.

At 6-1 he's another undersized shooting guard, that we don't really don't need. Not if we're keeping Smart, AB and IT.

For a team in need of youth, and bench guards, he'd be a nice pickup.   

Rozier is a tweener. He has a similar challenge to Jordan Mickey. They have NBA talent but the wrong bodies or are on the wrong teams.

The other challenge for those guys is that they aren't good enough to challenge guys ahead of them.

Rozier needed to improve as a point guard. Maybe he will, but unless Danny makes a move, Smart is the backup PG, and shooting guard is our most talented, stocked position.

The good thing about the Rozier's and Young's is that if they improve enough, they might become rotation players or solid next guys up, or used in trades, not just let them go.

Danny might be looking at too many options. There must be some hidden personnel who crunch the numbers and project future budgets based on such and such. Danny truly lucked out finding a sucker in the Brooklyn Nets. That's why I believe in Danny.

Yet some fans would be willing to blow it up if it meant bringing in that singular, big-name talent. The Celtics do need to go from good to great, but they can’t do it by making rash decisions.

Luckily, Ainge has some experience in these matters.

It's tough to not worry about Jerebko, but he couldn't handle the mask. He still looks like he's a bit punch drunk, but Olynyk played through the grapefruit eye and hopefully this works out too. He is our six foot ten old-school power forward. He is tough enough and fast to provide Brandon Bass defense. Certain PF's go through taller guys such as Amir, Al, and Olynyk like butter. So we need Jerebko, or Jordan is next guy up for that. Or people say throw in Crowder or Smart at them. No. That's pushing it. Jeff Green was sort of useful for that. James Posey. And KG was the greatest of them all defending every position and Magic Johnson also had those skills.

Rozier is a great luxury. His outside shooting is smooth. He will figure out how to finish at the rim. Isaiah should coach him. He is the master at that. Jaylen Brown is obviously greatness driving to the hoop.

The inside-outside game is cooking. We pile up tons of points.

This is where a coach can really put his fingerprint on a game. I like Stevens because I assume he is a genius studying film and stats. He is a Terry Francona sticking with Pedroia in regards to Jaylen and James, and Rozier is in that group too.

I guess players like routine. Smart and Kelly are usually first in, always Smart. Sometimes Brad benches Kelly a bit, but there are no doghouses. There are no you are now doomed forever. Gerald Wallace got some chances and did well. Zeller even got into a recent game when it was still up in the air.

James Young, Rozier and Gerald Green all playing well at the same time is a lot of luxury.

Brad just wants to win the game. Don't take it personally. He rewards units that do well. He'll leave them on the floor or let them finish the game. I loved Phil Pressey because no matter how much dust he would accumulate, he'd always come in and give us a kick in the pants.

Phil and Olynyk worked well together. I remember Evan Turner and Zeller becoming a quality combination. Rondo to Shaq. Jaylen, Marcus and Jae instill confidence up the middle. They complement each other. I agree.

We should be okay as long as Brad doesn't overthink it.

I like subs to come in one or two at a time. I hated when Doc would substitute five at once. I think he did that. And then he'd act surprised they looked rusty or not on the same page.

I think our chances are boiling down to how good Amir and Horford play. If power forwards and centers weren't allowed, I think we are the strongest team. I am leaving open the possibility for a Cinderella finish.

I like Rozier a lot, and the hate for him on this board has really gotten a little insane.

As Rollie noted, it's only his second year, and it's really just his first year getting real minutes.

You can't teach the kind of athleticism he has. His anticipation on defense is excellent too, though he is young and needs to learn the defense better.

And he is a gamer.

Give him some time and those shots he's barely missing will start to drop. I saw him make some remarkable shots and passes on the Red Claws, he was a man amongst boys.He played with more confidence and poise. That will come at the NBA level with time and experience.

He has a very high ceiling, let's not give up on him just yet.

Rozier is like a RB who goes east/west too much and doesn't go north/south and hit the hole hard enough.

Rozier is a good rebounder for a guard and can bring the ball up against pressure but he tries to do to much and his defense is bad, it was a bit better the last two games but he gets lost to easily and sticks on picks and is out of position often. He looked really good in summer league and has been a disappointment so far, maybe because of how sharp he looked in summer league. He is still young.
