  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Anyone else see this when Horford threw him the alley oop vs the Cavs?
In the replay they show him dunking, landing and starts talking smack to Lebron and Kyrie (I think it's Kyrie).
Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed this and seeing how much this guy wants to win really minds me of Marcus Smart and KG.

Anyone know what he said or can lip read?

For those who missed it, footage starts at about 1 minute 56 seconds in:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11zV5DKDm7I
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

To Lebron "Im coming for that crown baby"

To Kyrie "Oh you still ball, I thought you went back to Duke as a Geography major."

one of the first things me and my buddy talked about after that game.. He's almost untouchable in my mind along with smart and even crowder(due to his contract). I loved it, he also was chirping at lebron after he matched his 3pter with his own the next possession. espn first take which im usually not fond of were giving alot of props to boston yesterday and SAS said they are one of the scrappiest teams he has seen, which i absolutely agree with. Not only do you need the gifted talents to play in the nba, you need the attitude to go along with it. IT, smart, crowder, AB, rozier, and jaylen all have it imo. they dont mind getting their hands dirty.

Also can we talk about jaylens improvement since the fall? he went from basically a cutter who could finish at the rim to now a well rounded player. His handles have improved greatly along with his shot. Hes pretty consistent from 3 now which surprised me because I imagined it would take a couple years for his form to start showing. Also his defense has improved a lot and he wont back down. I remember a play where Lebron brought the ball over half court and jaylen was at the top of the arc already bent at the knees in defensive position and smacked the floor almost KG like basically saying I aint going no where i dont care if youre the king. Loving what this kid has shown so far and I was one of the ones against that pick..
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Agree with all that, but he actually was not a good finisher at the rim in the early games.

I love how Brown pulled his shorts up(even higher than they already are :P) got down on D and clapped at LeBron. Thats some Avocado's for a Rookie.

And a little jab at LeBron's legacy. If a Rookie did that to Jordan, Jordan would have told the whole team to get the @#@# out of the paint and worked the Rookie for the rest of the game. I mean Brown is good, really good on D, but when you're the "best player on the planet" you mouth should water when you have a rook on ya.

He was also afraid of KO, pulling up on him instead of taking him to the hole. Maybe Clevelands fans were right and KO is our enforcer. LOL

But man Brown's confidence has grown leaps and bounds over the season, going to need it to get to the second round. I wish he was still starting. Almost think he should until AB is 100% ready.

I noticed this also. I love that it was our rookie who did it, but come on Lebron, you have like what 20-30 pounds on the 20 year old? You need to man up and show everyone why you are a beast. A kid standing his ground and basically saying bring it big guy should not end in a pass.

Although this just may be us putting our idea of Jordan on other players. Jordan was a one of a kind force that we wont see for a long time. He was god in a pair of basketball shoes (not religious, just a grandiose exaggerator I am) and no one could guard him. Maybe it isn't fair to compare Jordan to Lebron.

Maybe that's a load of bullEdited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.. Maybe if Lebron supporters continue to say he is better than Jordan then we have to compare them. And Lebron is no Jordan. He is like a cross between Malone and John Stockton haha.

Anyway, go Brown, I love this kid. He has the fire already, and as Tommy always says, this kid is crazy aggressive. I can't wait for the rookie label to fall off him, and watch him stop deferring to literally every other player on the court because it is his place on a playoff team.

What about after terry got the tech and rich Jeff. Swung his legs around him?

Jaylen came right back at the Cavs hard as if to say "your not gonna punk us"

Jaylen has really improved and I think should be untouchable.  He needs to improve his ball handling.

When you are around Marcus Smart, you'd pick up on trash-talking for sure lol.

"It was a Bar fight, man.  It was a bar fight."  I know KG is proud wherever he was at lol.

He played great.  Kid has won me over big time.  He has a chip on his shoulder.  Love it.

I love his mental attitude.  He didn't back down from Lebron.  He was relishing the opportunity to guard him - he was like - bring it King James!

And you get to talk smack when you win, lol :-)  It's all in the moment.  You make a great play and you want to see how your opponent responds.

He straight challenged Lebron. Something thats gone poorly for young players (Tobias Harris, Stanley Johnson) in recent history.

Lebron had him in an ISO and Lebron tried to break him down, but Brown stayed in front of him. Lebron passed out and then got the ball back. Brown started clapping his hands again, and Lebron couldnt break him down.

Then later after Lebron hit a 3, Jaylen answered with a 3 and pointed what looked like at James and again picked him up on D.

then hes jawing after this alley-oop. Kids got a lot of fire in his belly.

I thought he told em to "get the Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. outta here" just like he told Jefferson.
