I think teams are playing him different and it's time this team figure out who else can step up. I say let him get some rest during the road trip. We definitely can't afford for him to break down now.

This is why we needed PG13. The game vs the Raptors and Hawks were prime examples. We need a guy who can go get a basket\foul when the shot clock is going down.

Agreed, but not at the expense of Crowder, Bradley, and either our 2017 pick or Jaylen Brown.

I wish Horford was more aggressive, but I think he's taking his last few stints as a negative contributor to why he has struggled so mightily.

Danny screwed up.  Are you all going to admit it or not?

Oh well, lil man deserve rest.  I don't blame him if he take games off from here on.  Danny didn't get him any help.  Uphill battle from here and the end will be brutal.

I think it's a consensus that Danny should've made some small moves at the deadline at the expense of minor assets (2nds and expirings)
Jaylen Brown for All-NBA

"IT needs rest" is a Great idea. I feel giving IT 4 games off would do him well. It was when all the all star promotion started when he started having off games. It's like he is being pulled in too many directions. And while 95% of the league had a vacation to recharge he did not.

So I'm on board with giving IT one week off to recharge. Let him visit his family. Get his body rested. Have some down time to breath. It's been working for LeBron last few years. We need our leader at 100% for the playoff push and the actual playoff. Let's not get tied up into holding the one seed for a week.

IT needs to pass the ball.
I am happy the 20 point streak is over. he was forcing shots.
Obviously he is our main offensive weapon. but it feels like he is caught up on individual goals.
Same goes for the "you know what time it is"

IT is great, but too many times I have seen Amir wide open 2 feet from the basket and IT chooses to take a contested shot.

As you can see in many threads, no it isn't.

AB is back, so there's that.

Where is the evidence or statement that IT is tired?

even if ainge had done those small moves, i am not clear on how they would have specifically addressed the questions here surrounding IT. most of the chatter was about obtaining a rebounder.

no pg or shooter was available who would have made a difference in ITs minutes, were there?
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

To be honest I think Ainge didn't get IT help so he could drive down the price of his contract demands. It's business guys never forget that. Ainge knows IT loves Boston and his career has been on the uptick. It's not going to be easy for IT to get a max deal unless we can get out of the first round. How do we get out the first round when he doesn't have the help.

I'm just saying these are going to be negotiating tactics. Same goes for AB. AB said he was ready weeks ago.

So we're going to see how these last few months play out but I know Ainge is shrewd when he didn't bring back TA, Posey and traded Perk.

Ball is 9 inches taller than him and Fultz is 8 inches taller than him.

Not only is it not a consensus, but whose to say we didn't make an offer for Noel.  Maybe Philly didn't want to trad him within the conference.  Boston has talked to Philly about both Noel and Okafor going back to last years trade deadline.  Maybe Philly is p---ed Danny wouldn't pay the rip off price they were asking and when the market drove the price down to what Danny wanted they traded with Dallas to spite him.  GMs are human too.

What he needs is for someone, anyone to take the ball from him in the 4th quarter and save him from himself. IT is my boy, but he gets Tunnel vision at times. Brown is the most capable offensive player we have outside of IT, I truly believe this(AB considered). He's going to wave off IT4 in the 4th and make it his show where he'll finally become the Eastern Green Mamba!
