They would combine to make the most athletic starting wing combo in the league . Both have great size for the wing, with JB able to play the 2/3 and Jackson the 3/4(in the future). Both can switch onto 1-4 on defense, and both have the potential to be 20+ppg scorers in the NBA

Look at this game vs Kentucky for Jackson. He appears to have a really strong handle and ability to drive and finish, or find a man to dish it to

His athleticism is off the charts, probably more athletic than JB

Also out of the 3 of Ball,Fultz and Jackson, Jackson is the one you can see as an all NBA type defender with his length and athleticism.

If you can somehow sign Blake or Hayward(and then use AB and other pieces to get a big man)

IT.             Smart     Rozier
AB           JB
Jae         Jackson
Griffin     yabu
Horford    zicic

Oh man. Contender next year and have our young all-star wings of the future developing while we contend.

When Lebron is leaving his prime, a core of JB,Jackson,Smart, brk 18 will be ready to take over the east for a decade.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
We are on achilles injury ACL or MCL on Lebron from the finals now. We Are contenders.
Top 5 team = Contender.
"People look at players, watch them dribble between their legs and they say, 'There's a superstar.'  Well John Havlicek is a superstar, and most of the others are figments of writers' imagination."

We can just as easily lose to chi or Indy in the 1st rd.

That same could be said for Fultz.

That's absurd. Unless both of these guys are literally Lebron, it won't be until after the end of both their rookie contracts that they'll be good enough to carry us to contender status on their own even if they both turn out to be eventual superstars.

That's not how young players work. That's not how any of them work.

Great words from a great man

Exactly. I actually hope we can avoid both of those teams in the 1st round - particularly Chicago because they'd rebound us into oblivion. All either has to do is put Jimmy Butler or Paul George on IT and dare someone else to step up.
2021 Houston Rockets

I agree with RH, TP, that twosome would be awesome.  They can defend multiple positions, and are both supremely athletic.  Guards are more plentiful, but when you find guys 6'7" (Brown) or 6'8" (Jackson) with their talents, you grab 'em.

We can compete now when these guys are young, as complementary pieces. As guys like IT and Horford get older, they become the centerpieces.

I Love Brown but a small part of me is still burning we didn't get Simmons (even though he's injured) he would have been the perfect player for this team as a Draymond Green type ball handling combo guard, he's a great rebounder (needed), playmaker (needed) and eventually switch defender.

Thomas
Bradley
Crowder
Simmons
Horford

Brown is the right fit

Simmons gave up on his studies... His defensive effort is inconsistent

I don't know about the 'in 3 years' part, but I would love a in-the-future lineup of starting wings of Brown and Jackson as long as they both can improve their 3 point shooting a bit.  If Smart could keep improving and if eventually IT becomes too expensive due to some other signings....

PG Smart
SG Brown
SF Jackson

That lineup has size, super def ability, length to attack the rim.  Just would depend on development of the 3 point shots for all 3 of them.

I think long term Brown and Jackson would be more likely to be a 3/4 combo than a 2/3 combo

Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19
