He definitely did it.  I cringed when I saw it, because I know they've cracked down on gang gestures and things in the past.  But, Carroll should've been tossed for that BS.

Hopefully it's just a fine, and not a suspension.

I hate the direction in the league is going. Seriously, it's like their goal is to make the sport rated PG, something that's appropriate to show a 4 year old kid. Like come on now, where are the emotions in the sport these days? This is one of the major aspects that drew me into the sport; the players had a personality attached to them, and now it seems that the league has all but eradicated that aspect from the game.

That is understandable, but to what point is something family friendly? Kids grow up watching rather violent TV shows as is, so what kind of impact could a light pushing match have on these kids that are watching?

I view this as more "next level" trash-talk than criminal behavior.  In a league of best buds and softies, I actually find this refreshing. I live in an admittedly warped sense of reality, though.
