Nothing major. The can gets kicked down the road. Again.

It will be interesting to see, though, if Ainge quits on this season and fails to address the fatal flaws - rebounding and defense - of this current group.

I'm a little late, but going with "No"

Danny has the assets to make a move, and there are players available. The fact he hasn't made a move means he's not going to. Maybe around the draft. Or maybe not. Maybe he goes the draft and FA route.

Frankly I'm still surprised he didn't make a move for Cousins...
Celtics fan for life.

if ainge quitting on this season means not giving up assets for mediocre players, then I'm all for it
I trust Danny Ainge

Yeah. Unused assets win games.

I wonder when the Green Teamers are going to figure out that all they do is save ownership money.

I think Danny is running an experiment to see if it's possible to win a title as the worst rebounding team in the league

I don't think Ainge does anything today. Lottery results

Celtics pick #1 - Shop it for George, Haywood and see which one will sign a long term deal.

Celtics pick #2 - Shop it for George, Haywood and see which one will sign a long term deal.

Celtics pick #3 - Shop it for George, Haywood and see which one will sign a long term deal.

We don't need a point guard so I don't like the pick. I like Jason Tatum over Fultz and Ball.

Since we don't know what pick the Nets will be I think nothing major happens today.

Once the lottery is over, Ainge will have plenty of leverage.

Bogut and PJ Tucker to the Celtics

Amir, Rozier, Young, Mickey and a few picks

Keep the core together and try to get to the ECF.

Ainge is waiting for Bron to get a year older. There is no need to blow it up yet.

If there's truth to the report that Ainge didn't want to give up Rozier for Ibaka, I don't see how he gives Rozier up for Bogut/Tucker.
Agreed.  That deal seems like a lot to give up for just Bogut and Tucker.  Rather not see anything.

Disagree here. Reports over the last couple of days (who knows how accurate they are, but...) make it sound like he's in a bit of a standoff on some big deals. My guess is he's going to take those down to the wire and he has a smaller move or two in his back pocket for when the bigger ones fall through.

I'm assuming the bigger deals are likely to fall through and hoping the smaller ones are still intact for when they need to be. At this stage, it's probably all about time management.

Not to mention a bad defensive team.

He does like to be different.

You have to balance those reports with what the house stooge Bulpett has been directed to report.

I am starting to think that I'm in an alternate world. It seems like NOTHING is going on today. Usually by this time of the morning you would have heard SOME rumor on SOMEONE (not just the C's but the NBA as a whole) but nothing yet....seems really odd.

As time approaches the noon EDT hour, I am resigning to the fact that Danny will do nothing. Which is good and bad - Good because we might get to see if the C's can make it to the 2nd round. If they do then great, but a 1st round exit, really would be a bad sign for the C's - it would mean that the team isn't as good as their record indicates. Which would mean that we're not where we thought we'd be.

Bulpett says Danny likely staying put. Don't expect trade for Bogut either.

Bulpett is actually good. He's usually right...So again, I wouldn't expect anything major. I can still see us making a minor trade.

I don't like this BUT I do believe Bulpett and he's right more often than not. Its starting to look grim.

I don't think we'll do a dang thing. I anticipate a very tough opening round and possibly an exit..
