It's truly a shame that we can't get more ping pong balls based on the margin of their suckiness compared to the runner up.

Our worst case scenario is that we're going to get one of the top 4 players in a strong draft. Jackson at #3 or 4 might be better than Fultz, no way of telling right now.
I think the lack of a story is due to the almost certainty that the Celtics are going to get a good young player while Brooklyn continues to stink for a couple of years. It's an older story nationally, going back to the Pierce/KG trade in 3.5 years ago.
ESPN has the Celtics as the 6th best team, top 20% percentile. While this is probably true right now, I'm not sure the national scene thinks that they are a legit title contender. With two more BKN firsts, they can remain a top 6 team for a long time.
