How about Ed Davis?  He is a good role player that rebounds and blocks... Always seems to fill up the stat sheet when given playing time.  I think we can easily get him without giving up anything substantial.  Another player that I always wonder about as to why he doesn't get much love around the league.  If anyone has followed the blazers consistently, would love to hear why Ed Davis never gets any respect...

I'm not quite sure where he fits in. As a replacement for Zeller's minutes?

I don't see Ed Davis having much of an impact on this team. We don't need a superstar but there are upgrades out there better than him.

I don't think that's a bad idea if we get him really cheap. He could fill a small role off the bench, cheap contract, fairly young and shoots lefty.

I'm fine with standing pat...though I don't mind seeing a small trade, like Zeller/Young/Rozier being traded for a big who can give us a good 10-15 minutes off the bench

Word is that we didn't get Ibaka because we were unwilling to package Rozier in the trade.

So Rozier likely doesn't go unless we get someone DA feels is a real good player.

Or someone who's beyond an expiring contract.

All I want from the deadline is some sort of upgrade on Zeller.

Great words from a great man

To me if we go minor we get a big that can board.  Davis isn't an option because Portland isn't tanking....

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
Sacremento has bigs and we have guards i see something happening. Collison in a three way trade. His name is out there. Rozier for WCS.
