Isn't Jure Holiday the reason they are winning some games recently? The only reason I can think of NO trading Holiday is that he won't resign this Summer, him alone is more valuable than Okafor, they can definitely get better values around the league.

I don't think Philly will let both Noel and Okafor go. Considering Embiid still has small amount of playing time, they should and they will keep 2 of their 3 centers. Okafor will be the only one they move (it seems at this point)

Nope.  He's also soft.

KO doesn't have a single double digit rebounding game this year or a single game with 3 blocks.  To say Jahil couldn't help us is because he's soft....presumably as soft as our guys....I mean sure.

Okafor probably does not help us this season but that does not necessarily mean he does not have value.  Say we trade him for the future Memphis pick and James Young or Mickey or Jackson.  If Okafor has more future value than those other assets (which aren't helping the team this season either) then it is a good trade.

I don't know what the deal is with Okafor.  He played well his rookie season (empty stats or not, he looked really good at times) but then had an injury and has not really done anything this season.  There are a lot of questions and a lot of possibilities with him.  He is a real risky proposition.  I would not be upset if we got him assuming it is a fair deal.  He may help us as early as next season.  There are not really any bigs in the draft.  You could think of him as a draft pick.

Philly is smart to target the NOP pick this season.  The draft appears deep.  Philly doesn't mind taking back a bad contract.  They should get a decent prospect with NOP in that 7-10 range.  This deal makes a lot of sense and I am not sure the Celtics can set up better.  That is a pretty high pick for Okafor but if you shed some salary too, it is a good deal for NOP.  Okafor is probably better long term than say the #8 pick but you just never know.

Hate to say it I told you so. But I really don't. Same thing will happen with Noel unless they start playing the man like a starter alongside Embiid, which I'm a fan of tbh. They could complement each other imo, but then you have to account for Saric and Simmons.
