  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Fultz and it's not even close.

Jackson could be a great player one day, like a Kawahi level player, but Fultz is already a great player and will come in and be an impact immediately with his size, shooting and court awareness.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.

Great players can always make those around them better.  If you watch them, I think they are underperforming their talent level.  Part of that is on Fultz, plus the coach sucks.

You are mistaken. UCLA beat the snot out my poor huskies by 40 something points.

But fultz and ball had remarkably similar stat lines.

I wonder what the score would have been if those two had their teams switched? I mean it. With nothing approaching the teammates ball has, Fulton matched him in almost all stats.

Did they match up against one another? Can anyone please provide some observations on this? Thanks.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

OMG are you kidding me? look at UCLA's roster...you are silly if you think ball would make Washington just as good as UCLA..BECAUSE THAT'S what you are saying!

The fallacy in this logic is that Fultz may actually be making UW better. But there are limits to what any player can do.

Fultz put up 25 with the next three highest scorers on his team totaled 28.  Ball was playing with three other guys who also scored 20 or more.  How much more could he do?

He chose to play at Washington when Dejounte Murray and Marquise Chriss were there. No one expected those 2 to declare last year for the draft but they had good years and left.

Imagine how good they'd be with those 2 and Fultz...

And besides which, prospect analysis is about how these players will perform at the next level.
Fultz looks like the better NBA prospect because of his complete game and ability to shoot from anywhere on the floor.

Ball looks great, but not on the same level as Fultz.
Fultz will be even better in the NBA with NBA spacing.

It'd make college basketball a lot more enjoyable, right?  Too much focus on developing a 'brand' imo.

They would've been, but it didn't happen for a reason, right?.  Draftexpress had Chriss going #4. Also think Murray is going to be the steal of that draft.  Both impressed enough to make an early leap in one year, imo.

I've only watched highlights / read articles, but Fultz approaches the game almost too casually, reminds me of Joe Johnson. And he could've played anywhere in the country.

Seen less of Ball, but he looks like he'll need serious work on D.  Flip side, he's got great size and talent, and guys like IT and Steph are showing that offensive may trump defense in today's league.
