No Hayward, please.
Draft Fultz or Jackson and sign Noel.

Chris22, I have to say...you're consistent.

I would be happy with this result.
Consistent???.....Its the only thing he says in any thread, regardless of the topic.

How about draft Fultz/Jackson.. and sign Millsap?

Noel is probably getting a big contract but we just saw him get mauled by Whiteside.

Yes, he's still young and growing, but I would rather give Millsap a 3 year deal than Noel at a big contract (and teams will offer him that, including Philly maybe).

As someone who is long tired of a Celtics + Milsap marriage being called "the Hawks all over again", I have a couple questions for people who do repeatedly make this point.

1) Do you remember that those Hawks went to the conference finals?
2) Do you think that the Hawks, without Milsap, would have had a top 5 record in the NBA and top 2 record in the conference?  Because if getting Milsap makes us the Hawks, then right now we're the Hawks without Milsap.  I don't think a Milsap-less Hawks team is as successful as we've been to date, and accordingly getting Milsap would make us better than that (very good) Hawks team.

I LOL'd. That was both funny and true.

Personally, I'm more concerned about his age and the length of the contract. What do you have in mind?

PS good points on KD.

But Millsap is old and will want 4 years which is no Bueno... or would we have to suck it up and just give it? I'd be fine with him on a max 2 or maybe 3 year deal... but 4 makes me cringe...
