Do you feel the Celtics will make a trade before the trading deadline?

They won't make any trades.
They'll make a very minor trade. Perhaps a deal something that might facilitate a bigger trade for another team.
They'll make a major move like trading away a significant player plus one of the Nets picks.

Outside of the Warriors this may be the weakest any of the top NBA teams have been in years. An injury or two to a key player(s) and the Warriors and the Cavaliers could be beaten by anyone.

We know the Celtics need another piece (or maybe two) to make them serious contenders. And, we know the future is not guaranteed. Free agency could make some of their current players impossible to sign. If so, this might be the time Danny gambles even if the Celtics end up losing in the long run.

I don't think we will see a major move during the season.  I would like to see a minor deal made, but I can already picture Danny talking to the media about how they couldn't find a deal that was to their liking.

I voted for minor move.  I'm hoping they can help Melo get moved and bring back Herangomez to play next to Al, though he had a good game the other night and I don't think the Knicks would part with him right now.

Need a fourth option: They'll trade for an expiring veteran using lesser assets (a non-Nets pick, secondary prospect like Rozier.)

I think they will make a significant move like Vucevic or Noel and maybe a defensive specialist like PJ Tucker but Nets picks will stay intact..

I voted for very minor trade, with the glaring lack of rebounding we have, I don't know how it can be ignored.

I like Ibaka too, he'd be a good fit, and also make an impact. If you think about keeping him long term, I'd like to know his true age.

I don't think they'll be a "trade facilitator". Those teams are usually losing teams. They should be trying to get another rebounder/rim protector without giving up any starters or Nets picks. Nurkic looks like the most attainable right now. Vucevic and Ibaka have been mentioned, but these might require a starter, and they don't have the depth to do that. Jefferson may be available, but he's not a D guy. Maybe they can swing a deal for Noel, if Philly caves.

I think Danny is going to do something. He's just waiting for the best deal.

I'm really hoping for a Bogut trade, he is the big I most want. Then, its Nurkic then koufus if he is available. Not a big fan of Vuc or Ibaka

Something minor.  I don't expect a big splash.

My vote was minor i.e. Not fireworks.  Would like ainge to get bogut here.  He would be an upgrade of amir or zeller, rebounds, very good passer, able offensive player but could be 5th option and not care and he isn't getting moved around by too many centers in the Nba.

Team is gelling, i'm expecting us to get better.  Our core guys shouldn't be traded unless cousins is target.

I think they go after Ibaka. He fits what they are doing and won't cost much.

DA is an opportunistic GM.  He will make some sort of trade, especially for a rebounder.  However, if a bigger option comes around at a good value he'll jump on it.

Agreed. Serge is anything but cooked. Should be good value for the price.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."
