Also LeBron the GM deserves a lot of blame.

 LeBron traded Wiggins for Love.
LeBron insisted they Sign Thompson to an 80 million dollar deal.
James wanted Shumpert, JR Smith, And Korver, he's still not happy.

You know why you can't get a Backup PG or any other meaningful player Bron.

Cause you bullied and painted your team into a corner, and when you lose the title this year, you'll probably bail as soon as you can.

Cause that's what you do. You Bail when the going gets tough.

This is an example of LeBron's sense of entitlement getting out of control.  Not that LeBron doesn't work his butt off but he expects things to work out for him and when they don't, he thinks there's something wrong with the world.  Barkley is entirely correct that it is ridiculous for LeBron to complain when Cleveland has done EVERYTHING he wanted and is spending more money than any other team.

LeBron just couldn't help himself.

In which universe did he think it was OK to complain to the media.

Interesting if Griffin actually refused an in-private request for another point guard. I just can't see that happening though

I used to say that when the going gets tough, Lebron quits.  I never thought he liked a challenge and that he was afraid to be seeing trying in a loss.  This was true in his last game in Cleveland, game 6 of the Eastern conference finals against the Celtics and he stopped trying with two minutes left in the game while the game was still within reach.  It was true when he left Cleveland to form a super team in Miami.  It was true when Dallas was getting the better of him in his first year in Miami and he pulled a disappearing act.  It was true in back to back years in the all star game when Kobe challenged him and he wanted nothing to do with him.  It was true when he left Miami when Wade's game was obviously declining.  And it was true when he demanded the Cavs to trade Wiggins for Love.

The last two seasons I revised my opinion of him due to his incredible performance in each finals.  But these recent comments to just go back to much of what we have seen in the past from him.  Barkley is right that he doesn't want to compete, that the Cavs have done everything thing he asked, and that they have the highest payroll in the league.  He wants it to be easy.

Reminds me of a joke I once heard.  Why didn't Lebron cross the road?  Because he's looking for an easier path.

I feel like Chuck hit a nerve. I dont think Lebron wants to go around complaining to the media about his roster but he has to improve his team somehow. GSW upgraded with KD, and the only significant upgrade the Cavs have is a 35 year old Korver.

Lebron is defending himself by bringing up something completely unrelated to Barkley's criticism.

Barkley says Lebron has gotten most everything he wants and he's still complaining.

Lebron is saying he's been a good ambassador for the NBA.

So, yeah, I do think Barkley struck a nerve.

It is amazing he is losing all the good will whining over not having a backup point guard and going after Charles Barkley off the court stuff from 20 years ago because there is a tough stretch for him.

Barkley is correct..It's sickening to see LeBron get everything he wanted in Miami and now Cleveland---and STILL whine and complain....Same guy who got called for ONE foul in six games. Talented, yes---but has to have all his duckies lined up, or he'll quit on the team--like he did when the Cavs got spanked by KG/PP/Rondo.

I am on Chuck's side on this one.
Lebron is the reigning champ, he just painted his masterpiece. He is a "Fallout-like" super mutant. And just as he says - he is blessed.
NBA gave Cleveland 3 top picks in the draft in 4 years, just to get him back to Cleveland and make him happy.
Yet, he feels so sensitive.
It is a long season.

Just when I was starting to have a little bit of respect for LeBron's game again...he goes out demanding for more players.

Like the above posters already said...he's got Smith, Love, Shumpert, Thompson and the newly-acquired Korver. What more does this fool want to make himself happy??? What, is Carmelo good or not good enough for ya?

Sheesh, this guy.  ::) ::) ::)

Barkley was all the things Lebron brought up and to his credit doesn't deny it.  But I think Barkley is spot on with his James assessment and Lebron can't take it.  Who dare criticize "the king"?? Yes lebron is a great basketball player but he is spoon fed the game, calls, teammates like no other.  I always thought the jordan rules were biased but the wwf oops I mean nba's privileged "king" has it all.

Chuck never misses a chance to provoke a fight or promote himself with loud criticism of the NBAs cash cow LeBron.

He maybe wrong , but he and I doubt it. ;D

No love for Lebron this time, anybody?
That's a first!

LeBron is a babified but great player, he is not the best GM but we all know he runs the team.
