Wow, I just saw that Ibaka is shooting 38% on 4 attempts a game from three.

Uh, yeah, at that price sign me up! That's a perfect compliment to the rest of our starting 4.

Yep, he plays Brad ball. A near perfect fit fot what we need.

I just question his age.

For 3-4 months his age doesn't matter.  The Memphis first, Zeller, and Jackson is not a price that makes you regret letting him walk if someone throws too much money/years at him this summer.

Glad people are starting to warm up to the idea.  I think he's a solid plan E at the trade deadline.
Yes, and this too from jpotter:

I'd still gladly make that trade at the deadline and get him now. At least that way you have him for this season in case injuries happen, to us or opponents, where you can take advantage of his presence.

I still think he'd make us a tough out for Cleveland, even with the possibility of knocking them off if IT can continue his elite play. That'd allow us to accurately gauge where we're really at before handing out any sort of longer term money this offseason.

I certainly also like Ibaka over Bogut too, or any of the bigs who got traded today (Hawes, Hibbert, M.Plumlee).

To add frontcourt help for this season and STILL keep flexibility and Nets picks, well it's a no-brainer Danny!

WOW, Plan E. You really have your specific plans lined up like Ainge I suppose lol.

What are your Plans A-D  :P

Plan A: Cousins
Plan B: Butler
Plan C: Noel
Plan D: Milsap

Frankly I don't see any of those happening at the deadline (probably not even Ibaka).

Is Cousins really available?

Who knows with the dysfunctional Kings franchise.

Reports did say Suns-Kings had talks about a Cousins trade a few days ago (and it was from a legit, well respected reporter).

I don't think any of them get traded either, but Danny will make 100% certain they're all no's until turning to Ibaka.  So Serge is plan E.
