Also, when James was meeting with Gilbert before he came back, he was not only assured, but promised that Gilbert would spend unconditionally.  The Cavs have been sitting on an open roster spot for three weeks and they have a number of good sized trade exceptions they could use.  The Korver trade actually saved the Cavs money as well (upgrade on talent and cheaper is always a good thing).

Like it or not the Cavs imploding the last few weeks is one of the top stories in the NBA right now. There was a separate article posted last evening with the new quotes from Gilbert on ESPN.

This is probably reflecting those new statements. We are only 3.5 games back from them right now and would be close to tied if we had not had our own painful stretch against the blazer, knicks and wizards. I don't think calling Lebron whining or insulting names is necessary at all (and I haven't been doing that in my posts), but I can't blame anyone for sharing top page ESPN stories on here even if they lead to criticism of Lebron.

I know you are a big fan of Lebron and live in Cleveland, but trying to temper the amount of posts people make about him that are negative doesn't really seem reasonable.

You totally aren't understanding my point.  The thread is talking about James whining, but James didn't do any new whining.  It was the same whining that was already discussed in the playmaker thread.  Sure the Owner and GM responded to James' comments yesterday, but James himself didn't make any new comments so there wasn't any new whining from which this thread was created. 

Your quoted article proves exactly what I am saying as it refers to James' comments after the Pelicans game.  All of these new articles and ESPN posts, stem directly from those comments, for which we already have a thread.

So the grievance is that there are multiple threads instead of all in one thread? Ideally they would go in one, unfortunately certain topics get buried and people see a front page ESPN story and if they don't see anything recent on latest forum topics they just make a new thread. ESPN could also probably put this all in one article they continually update, but they don't do that either.

I merely asked a question, i.e. doesn't this stem from James' comments after the Pelicans game?  Because I didn't recall seeing any new comments from James.  I was honestly asking because I wasn't sure if I missed some new comments.  It is now clear I did not and this thread was created to complain about the same comments that James made after the Pelicans game.  That is all I wanted to know.  Had you simply said yes, my question would have been answered, but for some reason you felt the need to go into a long winded response that didn't actually respond to my question and thus we went back and forth a few times.

Lebron has also had more influence on that roster and the moves they have made than any player in the NBA. You can't shop for the groceries and complain how they taste. Thompson is really overpaid and Lebron had a hand in that.

Yeah, it's like there's supposed to be $100 for groceries, you spend $127, and with that $127 you are getting a filet mignon (Lebron), Lobster (Kyrie), and maybe some quality Sirloin (Love), then being upset you have to eat soup and salad a few days of the week.

Lebron has a no trade clause. So it would have to be mutual.

I think he's smart enough to know that CLE won't win a championship with this roster. I think CLE knows this too.

BKN picks, Jaylen, Smart for Lebron.

We have the perfect team for Lebron to win a championship, IT is clutch in the 4th similar to Kyrie, Horford is better than Love. Crowder and Avery are upgrades as well. Brad Stevens is a better coach.

This is all contingent on Lebron forcing his way out, obviously.
