Rebounding isn't even a consideration anymore.  It doesn't help that they have been without their best rebounder, AB.  I don't get the argument that rebounding is not that important.

It's not as important if you're trying to beat Golden State.  It's very important vs any team with quality bigs - and the problem shows up night after night.  BTW there's a team in Philadelphia that is developing some real quality bigs so Danny might want to take that into account as he plots his next moves.

Rotations are not very good this year

Regarding ball movement, this wonderful passing attack we show at times is going to go south in the playoffs once teams start really focusing on playing defense.  They'll get up in the passing lanes, force guys to dribble out of trouble and disrupt our flow big time. 

That's when the lack of anyone who can consistently get to the hoop and score (who isn't 5'9") is really going to rear it's ugly head.

I think it all comes down to defense. This team has the offensive firepower to beat anyone but they simply cant get the stops. The difference between this year's defense and last year's defense is immense and makes little sense given the only difference is exchanging Sully and Turner with Horford and Brown.

Stuff I see is players not working through picks as aggressively which kills the defense of the pick and roll as well as giving too much space to the ball handler for an open shot.

Players also seem to be playing more passing lanes leaving to much space for open looks.

Defensive rebounding was a sore spot last year but it seems even worse this year. Our bigs have been horrible in this regard.

Closing out the three point shooters has also not been as good as last year.

Lastly, the youth(Jaylen, Rozier, Young, Mickey) have been
seeing a lot more time in the rotation as compared to ladt year and they just have not been a pisitive addition to the defense. They get beat pretty consistently and contribute mightly to my other reasons.

This team needs a significant shakeup right now. Nobody playing well defensively, including Smart - who I would suspend for his little tirade last night for at least a game.

It's these cookie dough bigs that get mauled going up against real men. It's the fact that you can't play a 5'9" dude 35 mins and expect him not to get picked on defensively and worse we try trotting out a 6'4" guy (who's whole time here he's been asked to do WAY too much, imo) at SF knowing [dang] well he's not going to get you back any of the points he'll give up to those taller players.

Well they are playing crappy basketball as of late and I'm frustrated with it but... if you look the last three years since the rebuilding process has started, every team played ****ty bball first half of the season. Why? Ask Danny. Obviously, it affects every player (except maybe Horford and IT atm) those rumours. The players do not like them, it gives them sense of instability and uncertainty, and they play awful at times. They will get better after trade deadline, when they are safe. However, we are not an easy 50 wins team. No way. We are a classic blue-collar hard working team whose bread and butter are hustle plays and no fancy thing we go get this win because we better type of things. No. When the schedule came up, I simulated every game and came up with 47 wins. Yeah, that is one win less than last season? No way. Look at this roster. We are clearly better than last year... However, you get my point, this team has no easy wins in their legs. We must fight for every point to get the win. And it's not an easy thing to do for an 82 games. You get tired. And this are no rookies that we have. Almost every player that we have has been in playoffs and they know that it doesn't matter how well you played in the regular season... to sum it up, things will get better when trade deadline passes. Hope we will get better out of it.

Injuries

Never had such good luck as the Cavs or the Warriors in terms of staying healthy.

Its not the entire problem but how on earth do you ever get good consistent teamwork done if we were never complete. We are now 4-4 without AB and on a  3 game slump. Even if AB comes back we cannot really expect him to be the AB that left prior to his injury...people really need to step up big time. If ABs injury will linger or hamper his season I am expecting us to slump down even further in the standings to 5th or 6th seed...AB is that important.
