The JJ one was expected for the matchup, but the Brown change was certainly unexpected, especially playing against Harden.

Brad said in another quote that this change had nothing to do with the Smart incident last night, so I'm guessing this change is to keep the bench from collapsing the game like it has lately, along with trying to get Smart back into his element. I think that's the biggest issue with Bradley's absence. Along with losing his shooting, it forces Smart off of the bench into the starting lineup, which greatly reduces an already lackluster bench full of young players.
