Great now Smart is fighting with an assistant coach. Now he will be untradeable

Hey, I see this as a good sign. At least they're showing emotion now, right? Hell, they were content with just getting ran out of the gym beforehand.

Maybe they'll all finally take a deep look at themselves and pull their heads out of their arses.

It's good to show emotion, but not to the extent that you argue with an assistant coach who's trying to give you advice and then almost fight him. That's a sh1tty attitude I'm sorry.

What advise? The coaching staff have terrible rotations in the last few games. They aren't excused for this pathetic outcome.
Yeah with that process everyone should be questioning every body in the organization. The players should be questioning every move Danny makes, the coaching staff is supposed to be questioned by the players too, but yet the players shouldn't be held accountable for the lack of effort they gave on the court. It's not Smart or any of the rosters job to question the coaching staff. Their job is to go out and play with energy and as hard as they can because the coaching staff has shown that they will put their players in winning situations when they come out and play with grit, energy, and as a team.

Looks like Smart was trying to get into the game again, but Brad wouldn't let him, which was probably a smart move to avoid a confrontation.

Smart definitely was in the wrong there, but I don't think it's as big of a deal as people were initially making it.

This team simply has soft bigs and no reliable #2 scorer. Period.

Hopefully Ainge wakes up and realizes this team needs a legit KG-type big who can rebound... and while I have high hopes for Zizic, lets pump the brakes a bit on him and not assume he will come in and dominate immediately.

Zizic can help ....but Danny just puts much load on some guys .  I feel for the kid ......DA is putting him in the position of savior to fill the void of defense and rebounding. ...while waiting out Boogie or Butler .....we got NO rebounding centers

Too many soft, slow footed bigs, and undersized players, paired with a single dimensioned offense.
(Especially without Bradley.)

Danny needs to take a hard look at the hand writing on the wall.

Zizic is not seen as a savior. Maybe a few people on this blog have placed that burden on him, but thats not where most people sit.

Missed the game, recap anyone? Looks like we really dug in on defense... and glad to see Jimmy Young and Mickey seeing some PT, though I'd prefer that to be in Europe.

I agree...
if that really happened he should be suspended for a few games. You don't fight a coach.

There wasn't any "fight." Emotions just got hot and there was a heated discussion. Not really a big deal after seeing it. That stuff happens when your team gets embarrassed like that.

This. Getting frustrated is a sign that you actually care for winning. See Draymond Green and KG.

To be honest Boogie or Butler wouldn't help us now.

They would improve us a bit but this team has MULTIPLE holes.

It will take more than Zizic for sure.

The Celtics got punked.

Their guards dominated our front court.

Smart was frustrated at the end (understandably).

The defense was atrocious for most of the game.

IT struggled in the 4th but WAS used their size well against him.

And of course... no one else stepped up when IT struggled (same story)

Also did I forget to mention our bigs are soft?

The one thing those guys give is they are tuff.  AB is so fragile .

Played bad D the whole game. Made a few halfhearted attempts to get back in the game but just couldnt get enough stops to make much ground up. Got killed at the end of every quarter and let Washington completely embarrass us in the last few minutes.

Yeah, now where can you get a KG like big? I don't think there is one playing at the moment...
