Watching it on tv, I thought it was clean. When the foul was called, I thought the refs called an and-1 and I celebrated so hard. I'm still salty that it went the other way

I thought it was an and 1 also.

It would be nice if they could review plays under a minute left.

Explain Marcus Smart's Performance vs the Blazers

It didn't go in the hole

There were other factors too, but that was the major one

It's just not that game but Smart is shooting under 36% from the field overall and under 30% from three for the year!  Yet he continues to shoot.  He's shooting 3 for 15 (20%!) from 3 in our last 3 games .  In the last 5 games he's shooting 25% overall.  Why is Smart still shooting so many 3's?  He's averaging 4 per game.  It makes no sense.  If he kept to driving and shooting mid range jumpers I wouldn't have a problem.  i know his defense is very good but his offense is a BIG liability.

BTW, in the last 5 games Crowder is shooting over 53% from the field and over 45% from 3's!  He needs to be shooting more.

Why is Smart still shooting so many 3's?

Stevens wants him to.

Why though? It doesn't seem to work game to game. I don't mind if a guy doesn't shoot 50% but he needs to go to the hoop more. His body was designed for it even if he doesn't have the handles or smooth at the basket skills as IT.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I never read that Stevens wants him to shoot that many 3's (4 3's a game).  Especially when he's so bad at it...

Lol, that's not true at all. Did Evan Turner shoot threes? Geez, people will say anything to protect Smart. He has a bad shot selection. This is what he did in College too. Look at his stats.

Whoever is responsible needs to tell him to knock it off. It's killing his trade value.

We mostly call them bad shots because we see him miss so many of those non catch and shoot threes. Other guys take those same shots and we don't consider them bad shots at all. They're only bad because he can't hit them consistently.

He needs to become a better shooter off the dribble if he ever wants to make it big time.

@Geo123

I thought  the Pop vid made it clear I wasn't being serious.

In any case, as MBunge pointed out, it's not like Smart is taking shots against the wishes of his coach.
