CBS left Rozier in WAY WAY too....long .....iced the Celtics ......

Smart should have been in there running the show .

This is CBS fault
Gerald Green bricking shots and the Horford going 1-9 or whatever is not to blame?

There's a lot of blame to go around. Smart is not playing that well either on offense.

Giving up 63 points to an injury-ridden Knicks team that is terrible fully healthy, and we're down 31-15 in rebounds. They're literally more than doubling us up on the boards.

Anyone else see a problem there? I know I've said this a million times, but I don't understand how we can flip so much from last year with minimal personnel changes.

I mean, it really seems that Al at the 4/PF position for us has really killed our rebounding and defensive abilities.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Is it really that hard to get legit bigs in this league? Why don't we at least attempt to draft them??

We did, but he's in Turkey.

Finally one, after a reach at 16.   I'd rather have 3 big prospects than 3 combo guards, though.  Wouldn't you?

Rozier can't play point by himself. Combine him with Gerald Green and Jaylen Brown and the collective basketball I.Q. is probably as low as this team can manage.

When Bradley doesn't play, Brad's been good about making sure Smart or Isaiah are on the floor. Until tonight.

Yes it's pretty exhausting reading the same stuff from you. We obviously need a big to fill out the roster. In the meantime Brad has to work with what we have.

So IT and Jae showed up....and no one else.

Smart? He's only got 2 points, but he has 4 assists, 2 blocks, and 1 steal and is seemingly the only one playing any D out there.

Our problems are our terrible defense and rebounding.

Yeah, Smart and Amir have been decent. We're getting killed by Horford and the bench.

It's really tough to think this, but replacing Sullinger with Al and putting him at the 4 position rather than the 5 position looks to be the main culprit in both our rebounding and defensive woes.

Granted, he's also made us much better offensively with more spacing, passing, and playmaking, but it certainly seems he's the primary factor in our poor defense and rebounding this year.

the problem is effort.

this celtics team thinks it can mess around with the knicks at home for 3 quarters, come back and win it all in the 4th

and they probably can...
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

We need bigs, no denying it. I think Zizic will certainly help, but unfortunately, that's 40 games and the playoffs away.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

he has 2 assists and took a couple threes when the ball found him. The entire second unit was out of synch. Gerald and Brown were running isolation plays also.
