Wait, are there actual reports that Drummond isn't happy and wants moved from Detroit, and would Detroit even consider it after just paying him big money and locking him up long-term?
Seems unlikely to me, though I'd give my left leg to have Drummond in Boston. He solves many, many of our problems.
Nope, just one of those if he becomes available type threads without any link to anything real.
The thing is if Detroit moves on from Drummond that means total fire sale, so I'd go after Harris as well.
Drummond and Harris
for
Brown, Johnson, Jerekbo, Zeller, Young BOS 17, BKN 18, BOS 19 (lotto prot.), MEM 19
I think that would be a reasonable trade for both teams.
With 3 open roster spots, Boston would be
PG - Thomas, Rozier, Jackson
SG - Bradley, Smart, Green
SF - Harris, Crowder
PF - Horford, Olynyk, Mickey
C - Drummond
Obviously Boston would need to add a veteran big guy or two, but I think that team's 8 man rotation (starters plus Smart, Crowder, Olynyk) would be a real threat to Cleveland.
