We need 20 from Jae at home vs. a very hot Wizards' team!!!!  Put up or SHUT UP Jae!!!!  You should have plenty of energy because I only really saw hustle from you when the game was decided in the last minute!!!

Great thread!!

crowder needs to get off his high horse if he isn't going to play with heart.  Tonight's game was a true example.

Who still thinks there's not much of a drop off from Crowder to Hayward? Hayward have averaged 20+ for going on three sessions now.  He is the man in Utah, but popular media thinks we can get him.

You would be paying Hayward 30M/Year to not make us legitimate contenders.

This team needs BIGS. Also Hayward's defense isn't as great as Crowder.

That being said Hayward has 28 points and 9 rebounds against the Cavaliers tonight... Not bad. But still.

I am not OK with his "I don't mind leaving" thing too
He better get rid of this "slump" sooner or i will assume he just mentally checked out which means he should go ASAP

Crowder has been fine.  The twitter thing is a non-issue.  It's no longer a thing.  Internet fans are just looking for things that just aren't there.   Crowder has been playing as well as he always plays.

100% agree that it is no longer a thing. I like Jae.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

Hard worker, solid though limited player, seemingly good character, one of the best contracts in the league. Gets mad on social media and has like 2 bad games after a great game when he got mad....he's outta here!  :blank:

If we trade Crowder it'll be to acquire a guy we really want. We're not dumping him nor should we unless it's MUCH worse behind the scenes. It's a long season and a long rebuild, we can at least wait for actual trends to develop before overreacting to them.

Two games. Just two games ago he was playing fine. The social media stuff is just nonsense. Because of his talent, hustle, toughness, and especially contract, Crowder is probably here a long time.

My problem is that we are a poor rebounding team and our SF plays 38 minutes and gets 2 boards!.  Rebounding is effort and the effort wasn't there last night.  I'm not worried about missed shots those happen but lack of effort...

I could not disagree more. I think he's still not 100% from his ankle injury. My theory is that he's frustrated with his play this year and that manifested itself on his twitter

His defense isn't close to what it was last year before his injury. He isn't locking guys down like he did last year and he isn't forcing the same amount of turnovers. He also isn't driving close outs as often (getting to the line less). He is also shooting less, mostly because he can't create the close out opportunities he did last year. Those things tell me that he doesn't have the same mobility as last year.

CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon

There's nothing wrong with Jae other than he's just having a stale couple of weeks. The gritty, hustle style Crowder will be back before you know it.

Jae is just pacing himself so he can save himself for the playoffs.

Okay, I'll admit maybe I overreacted a tad bit, but I guess the timing of his slump couldn't have come at a worse time.

Just using the "EYE Test" through my online stream.. it just looked like Crowder was "uninterested" out there. Usually he's smiling with teammates and intimidating the opposition, but Crowder rarely did that yesterday and took some poor shots (and we know he is a smart BBall player).
