I LOVE Jae Crowder.. But This Is Getting Ridiculous...

Look, I understood Crowder's reason for frustration that night and don't blame him at all (he was correct with his point).

But then he took it way too far with some of his Twitter outbursts ("I don't mind leaving", etc.), and now he's really struggling.

No, we didn't lose tonight because of Crowder alone.. but just looking at his body language and shot selection out there, the dude looked like he didn't have anything in the tank and he was uninterested out there (except for maybe 1 or 2 rare hustle plays).

Stevens and Ainge really need to talk to Crowder and get his mind right again. He's still a solid 3 and D player that teams would love to have, but he's just having a bad stretch right now.

We really need that Crowder back who could put up 10-15 a night, play gritty defense, and make smart passing/transition plays out there. I miss that Crowder who could make plays and have a good time with teammates on the court as well...

And please don't spam this with "well if he can't handle it then maybe the Celtics should just trade him" and yadda yadda. Come on people, we're better than this. Lets try acting like the best fans in the world please and try to keep it civil.

This is beyond Ainge and Stevens. You need a psychologist on this one. Maybe even group therapy otherwise just ship him out for a new lease on life.

Crowder has been fine.  The twitter thing is a non-issue.  It's no longer a thing.  Internet fans are just looking for things that just aren't there.   Crowder has been playing as well as he always plays.

I tried to defend this guy. But if he keep this lackluster play he have recently, he might be on his way out of this team. He has regressed defensively and killed us with boneheaded plays against the Cavs and recently the Raptors.

He is not playing well because he is not playing with fire and hustle right now.

He needs to change, or he can pack.

it is easy for a player like Crowder who plays with a chip on his shoulder to lose that edge. He is a high energy guy that leaves it all on the floor and that is his advantage.

Once you show a lack of appreciation for a guy like that you take away his edge, that high energy, grit, and hustle, that elevated his game.

I saw enough tonight to see that he did not have that extra effort. He is either physically injured or emotionally injured. Until the team puts out a release that he has a physical injury I will attribute his lack of hustle to emotionally checking out.

You are not going to get that Crowder back because you have now made it clear to him, that this is all about business. He put his heart and body on the line for the team. He actually thought it was more than business. Now the few fans that 'dissed' him have taken that edge away. Whether he can get it back I don't know.

Alll those criticizing him and asking him to man up etc, do not understand how the mind works. Someone has to know how to reach him in the place that will light that fire once again.

Why - just because a few fans cheered another player who is a FA at the end of the season? Some fans wanting Hayward is irrespective of keeping and playing Crowder. This whole delicate flower Crowder crap has got to stop. If he emotionally checked out, then I am extremely disappointed in who he is as a person and so much different than I thought he really was.

And this is coming from someone who has previously called Crowder his favorite Celtic. I am really hoping this is just a couple of bad games. Still not cool, but at least it wouldn't be indicative of something greater.

Who still thinks there's not much of a drop off from Crowder to Hayward? Hayward have averaged 20+ for going on three sessions now.  He is the man in Utah, but popular media thinks we can get him.
