looking good for the green right now.

too bad the celtics cant rebound, they only lead the wiz in that category by 3. [dang] their lack of big men who can rebound. it kills this team every game!!!  ;)

Are you watching the game? We've given up 16 offensive rebounds, and those possessions have really hurt us. We are terrible at rebounding - last in the league I think.
you think, therefore it is not. (jj) actually you are pretty close, celtics are 3rd from the bottom. yet they are one of the better teams in the entire nba. i think the celtics will get rebounding help in the next year or two.

oh and on this game, you have a point, we might we watching different game since the stats in the game i am watching show the celtics out rebounded the wiz 45 to 44.

but in any case, it is a fun ride watching this team.

Huge win in these circumstances.  I think we can officially say this is a good team and we probably need to stop whining because they may not ultimately be a great team yet.

Really great win considering how shorthanded we were.  Frustrating but it was a game worth watching.

Smart and Beal really don't like each other.

IT is a phenomenon.  If "superstar" is a number 1 guy on a championship team, I don't think that's Isaiah.  But he may be the best offensive player under 6' in the history of the NBA.

Say what you want about IT, but we lose this game (and many, many more) without him.

We are probably not in the playoffs and watching the lottery with OUR pick
There's been no one in the history of the league like him.  Calvin Murphy and Tiny Archibald in his prime were the closest that I can think of, but IT is better than Murphy and Tiny was a different style player.

IT getting 35-38 seems pretty routine at this point

At this point, I have a hard time imagining him scoring below 20 again. Ever.

Crowder and Wall got into a post game fight.  We'll see if anything happens from the league.

An actual fight? Was it televised?

Mike

I know I've been complaining a lot about the team recently, but it's not because of how good we are. I expected them to be the 2 seed, which I think they would be if it wasn't for all of the injuries we've had this year, but they've largely met my expectations for their record so far.

I just can't comprehend how our entire culture and game changed over one summer. Apparently we're getting just as good, if not better, results during the season, but this type of "outscore your opponent" basketball won't win us anything in the postseason.

We have to find our defensive identity and intensity again if we plan on making any kind of noise in the playoffs. I still say that we've not met our goals for this season if we make it anywhere less than the ECF.
