Amazing how players can get in grooves like this. IT is certainly the microwave type of shooter, for better or worse.

Is that $ Mayweather in the crowd?

Would have loved Marcus to hit the dagger there.  I believe he's going to be a much more reliable shooter in the future.  The FT shooting thing is starting to get freaky.  Rondo never did that.

I wonder if Brad and Danny are just conditioned to all of these ridiculous surrendered offensive rebounds and terrible defensive sets of this team at this point.

It won't work in the playoffs.

Never liked small ball.   I luv rebounding bigs

It's why Leon Powe is a folk hero with this fan base.

that and Powe won us a playoff game against the Lakers almost single handed...
Powe was heart and hustle.  loved to get dirty in the paint.  miss him.  saw him at a game earlier this year - very friendly

The big 3 made a lot of players that were not that good look decent for a game or 2

Leon was part of those players. Maybe that injury got him too though.
Leon looked good until he injured his knee again.  cost us a trip to the finals in 2009.  probably wouldn't have beaten the Lakers that year but he would have been enough to push us past Orlando in the playoffs that year.

Anyone who doesn't think IT is a superstar hasn't been watching this season.

Nobody denies he is offensively, but it's hard to be considered a "superstar" when many defensive metrics rate you as the worst defender in the league.

Live by the 3, die by the 3. I hate it, but it's certainly our mantra.

EDIT: We have 17 made threes again, just FYI.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
This is like the opposite of the game last night against Toronto.

smart sucks tonight at 3 pointers, 0-5.

but he is 3-6 from two point range and perfect from FT oline. this may be the start of a slow and inconsistent, but improvement in his shooting.

He matches up poorly with Toronto.

when 6'2" Avery Bradley is your leading rebounder, your team has rebounding issues.

Very, very few NBA players consistently get you 29 a night regardless of the opponent and consistently deliver at the end of games.
