we won't beat toronto without some type of move. but i'm not sure it's even worth it. this team might not be ready till we get brown and the two Brooklyn picks as the center pieces.
Ugh, I hate the thought that this team's true relevance might still be 3-4 years away.
If you watched the game last night and thought that Toronto was clearly a better team, then fine. That is your opinion.
I watched the Celtics be the better team for most of the game. They simply could not stop Derozan, and that happens in NBA games. The rebounding issues are also killing their defense. It is hard to give full-effort for stops and then watch a big guy for the other team simply give them a re-do.
For me, the solution is simple and it sort of flows with the thread. They are the #3 seed in the East. They should win the first round, and then they will play the Raptors in a 7-game series. They need to make sure their roster is capable of competing with that team over the course of a series. They need big guys to compete with JV. We don't have anyone who can handle that guy on the glass.
Get help down low and the team will be fine.
