Through the end of 3 quarters, OKC leads CHI 89-67.

Still a quarter to go, but Jimmy Butler has 1 point, 7 assists and 2 rebounds in 29 minutes.

UPDATE: I didn't realize but apparently Butler has an illness and he tried playing through it, so that may have played a factor. My bad guys  :(

Comparing Butler to Ricky Davis is probably one of the worst player comparisons I've read on here for over a year.

Btw, I'm still convinced LB compares the two because they have the same nickname (Ricky Buckets and Jimmy Buckets) because he can't possibly think their styles of play are similar.

Apparently going on basketball reference and comparing a 15 year player's points/rebounds/assists to a 5 year player's stats in the same basic categories is reasonable statistical analysis these days.

Butler will finish his career double the player that Ricky Davis was.

Butler last season Per-36:  20.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.6 steals with 45%/31%/83% shooting. 

Ricky Davis Per-36 his first season in Boston:  17.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.5 steals with 49%/38%/73% shooting. 

Butler's a little better.  I wouldn't trade the 2017 Brooklyn pick for either of them.

He is overrated by bulls fans. Very much so. They genuinely think he's a top 10 league player. With that said Ricky Davis is not even close to a fair comparison.
