So we are 1.5 games behind the Raptors right now,

Tonight, they face off against the Rockets, if they lose tonight, that makes Tuesday's game very significant and very very important for both clubs.

Tuesday's match is really the battle of the 2nd seed now, if we beat the Raptors, we will take the 2nd seed. I think being the 2nd seed after finishing almost half the season now is a huge confidence booster for this young club!

The fact that were battling for the 2nd seed but have sole possession of the worst record (BKN) makes me giggle like a little girl. And yet there's negative Celtics fans out there just because we're not a contender right this second??

I think of myself as an optimist, and I'm happy the team is doing well and has a bright future, but that doesn't keep me from thinking about how they might be better in the short term.  No matter how good we are, we'll always want them to be better, except for a brief period right after winning a championship.

Tuesday's game will have a playoffs vibe to it.  It's going to be a bar fight.  Can't wait.

Rockets win! It's going to be a really gun game on Tuesday. Being the 2nd seed would be huge for our playoff success chances, along with our potential to nab a good free agent/trade this offseason.

I'm hopeful we win, but I don't expect Avery to play.

Then Lowry has to sit out for us to win.

That honestly might not be too bad of a thing. AB struggles with the bigger guards like Derozan, who tend to just shoot right over him, but Smart usually does a much better job against those types with his bigger size and strength.

If Smart can play anywhere similar to how he played last night, specifically being a competent shooter, then he's probably a better matchup in the starting lineup against Toronto than Avery.

That crowd was pretty quiet in a really good game I thought.

It'll be interesting to see if Brad goes small that game. Tonight they started Lowry, Derozan, Powell, Carroll, and JV, which is really small. This is a type of game where JJ would be a better starter than Amir, even if they replace Powell with Patterson. That'd be great to pull JV out from underneath the basket and open up the lanes for IT and Smart to penetrate.

Lowry had 34 last time. Hopefully we get MVP Isaiah and All-Star Horford.

Just the way Brad talked about the injury in his press conference -- sounded like something that wasn't a couple day thing.  I think it'll be a week or two.
