Who still wants to trade the Brooklyn pick?

I don't know his personality or work ethic, but if those qualities are just above average, this guy will be a star in the NBA.

Maybe I'm mis-reading the year so far, but it looks like he has clear separation from everyone else in the draft. At least right now.

If he ends up on the Sixers they are going to be dominant for a long, long time. Embiid, Simmons, Saric and Fultz plus whatever they get for Okafor and Noel would be tough to beat.

No he does not.  Offensively he is tier 1 talent

But so is smith jr, tatum, monk

Defensively Fultz screams out solid but not much more

This draft lacks a dominant two way player... Giles was suppose to come close

Outside of fultz who can shoot?

It also takes more than bringing 5 high level of talent to become a dominant team

Embiid can shoot, and so can Saric. Plus they can easily get another shooter for Okafor or Noel.

Fultz and Embiid alone would be a dominant duo.

This is why Danny has to be very cautious and not make any moves to help the cause of the tanking Sixers.

Stating an opinion as fact without any supporting evidence does nothing to move the conversation forward. And it makes you sound like a know-it-all.

I was looking for informed input. If you have any, share it.

For my part, I've seen no one who has Fultz's combination of effortless scoring and real playmaking ability. Take a look at that video - he's not just getting assists because he has the ball in his hands all the time and sometimes another player scores. He's setting up the plays by attacking the basket or seeing the open man.

And meanwhile, he looks like he can get a good shot any time he wants, but he still tries to get others involved.

None of Tatum, Monk or Smith has that from what I've seen. Monk's not a playmaker. Tatum isn't a great shooter or playmaker. Smith is really, really good but he doesn't have Fultz's size, which will make a difference at the next level.

And while you're at it, how do you reconcile your statements that Monk, Tatum and Smith are "Tier 1" offense with this?

Monk has below average height, wingspan, strength for a SG

You know, Jordan Crawford once went off at a college game.

Monk will be better but odds are stacked against him to perform the way he is now vs college players vs nba calibre player. Especially on the defensive end

Smith has t rex arms though an  explosive athlete.

Tatum, Isaac have "children" bodies...

None of that makes sense to me, unless your opinions change completely day by day, or unless you are inclined to make over-the-top statements without really thinking them through.

two keys in your analysis are

'effortless' -- almost as if he is toying with the other players.

'playmaking' -- his play making shows great vision.

I was particularly impressed by the play where he tapped the rebound to his teammate.

Yeah maybe when you combine those things that's what stands out.

There are a lot of plays where he looks like he's going to shoot, but finds a guy at the last second, or where he looks like he's playing dish, but keeps it and makes the shot. Without looking like he's out of control.

I mean, a lot of guys dominate in college and don't succeed to that degree in the pros. But among that top 5 group, my money is on him.

The opposite is true.
Help the Sixers and we might get the top pick.

read my post... it says do not help the 'tanking sixers'. That means do not help their efforts to get better draft picks. So the opposite is not true.

Well you got me.. but not really. Dennis Smith does have t rex arms... Isaac has a frail body... Monk may have issues on the defensive end in the NBA.  Until he adds some bulk. .. this is not a draft filled with perfect prospects

Fultz is a very good offensive talent.. he is a pg so of course he should get his teammates involved... But so does Smith jr.
But Fultz is not considered a plus defender. Smith Jr. Has a higher upside as a defender

Imo its not Fultz then the rest like you think. Its not lebron then the rest type separation ...
