Playing 20 minutes a night for the Raptors he's currently Ranked 3rd among centers for Real Plus Minus and is averaging 1.8 blocks per game

According to Wikipedia he was drafted 16th by the Celtics in 2013 but I have no memory of this... Anyone want to help me fill in the gaps? Why can I not remember this guy?
I could be wrong, but I think it was part of the Olynyk deal—Boston drafted Nogueira, Dallas drafted Olynyk, and then they swapped them.
This is correct. We didn't really draft him -- we drafted Olynyk and sent our pick to Dallas. Because NBA draft trades are stupid, it means we technically drafted him. But everyone knew before the pick was made that he was not a Celtic, even tho he put a Celtics cap on top of his giant hair.
Also, Dallas sent the pick to Atlanta after they got it from us. So Nogueira was Atlanta's choice. Dallas chose Shane Larkin with Atlanta's pick, and wound up with a few extra second rounders for moving down about 5 slots, but also with the worst pick of the 3.
Atlanta then shipped the rights to Nogueira off to Toronto along with Lou Williams the following year in a salary dump I will never understand. Williams was making around the MLE level, had one year left on his deal, and wound up as 6th man of the year that season. The Hawks would go on to have a great season, so it didn't matter I guess, but giving up Nogueira to clear $5 million in salary of a good player didn't make sense to me then or now.
EDIT: I was too slow because I got sidetracked by Lou Williams.
