This is an Isiah Thomas appreciation thread only. 9 for 13 shooting threes, are you kidding me? 15 for 26 from the field.

I was just talking to my friend the other day and saying imagine how much this guy must have practiced over the course of his life. I bet you there's very few people in the NBA that have practice more than Isiah Thomas. At least not many that have practice scoring more Lol.

The play at 7:30 when he drove from the three-point line all the way to the hoop and took about to dribbles, literally made me say wow! Out loud when I saw it little guy is electric.

Definitely. Call me a homer here, but I think he's a top 10 player this season with his production.

I want people to start calling him the portable microwave instead of the little guy

I would HATE being called the little guy, ha! Seems demeaning

But dang, he sure can put the biscuit in the basket
I trust Danny Ainge

minus TP for portable microwave"-the lttle guy" the way tommy says it is symbolic of a tough guy with heart that makes impossible plays
the little guy gets to be identified with legend tommy, who showers this player with praise to the rafters and applauds isaiahs genius, skill and toooughness
to me microwave is demeaning and portable even more so
isaiah calls himself a killer  and the" little guy "as voiced by tommy is like cagney or edgar robinson in those old black and white gangster films or of another celtics era-aurebach and his tough guy cigar
"the little guy" part magician, the feints and change of speed, the strength he has as he throws himself into the bigs body and contorts while altering height and arc of ball  to kiss backboard so gently, tantalizing the bigs in the paint and mocking their impotence
his willingness to hit the floor from the heights he reaches and absorb pain, all with that impish disarming smile that goes deadly so quickly
from the sublime, to the how did he do that leaving every body awestruck, electrified and all lit up
that is the genious that is isaiah

what isaiah did was historic but there also was a move by the rookie a nice fake and a between the legs crossover that but his defender on the floor and he burst to the basket for an extended finger roll-the promise of what to come not only from him but our nets picks
gerald green and marcus can help this kid
both rozier and brown get to soak up isaiah, crowder and bradley toughness along with horfords all
around play

Thomas was brilliant last night. He is our star, the one scorer we can count on to make plays - not a single play by a very green rookie in an otherwise defenseless night - all night long and help us win.

Ainge is a brilliant trader. I wish he practiced it more.
