Pierce was more versatile, and ultimately the better score, but not by much, at least for this season.

IT has been absolutely electric this season.

His game tonight was incredible.

Pierce was a better rebounder and usually drew the toughest wing/forward defensive matchup and did well in those.  Scoring is only part of the game.

If your talking about just scoring..I would have to say IT.
The little guy is just putting up insane numbers and scoring in so many hard and difficult ways. Gets to the rim at will and finds a way to score at a height that no one thinks he will be successful.

Put it this way..if PP was 5'9. Will he be able to do what IT is doin right now..i dont think so .

But the overall better and versatile player is obviously Pierce and its not even close.

Isaiah is without a doubt (atleast IMO) the better scorer of the two. Pierce is however a lot better all around.

No hand checking makes quick perimeter players unguardable these days.

If IT does this stuff in the playoffs then I'll give him some considerations.

Pierce proved he could be a closer against the very best. I'm still not sure if Isaiah can get it done in the playoffs against a top team that is getting physical with him.

I will say this. We don't know if Isaiah has peaked yet. What he's doing now is hard to believe.

I would have to say that Isaiah is the better scorer, but Pierce is the more versatile scorer and overall better player. Offensively I'd take Isaiah as the only option over Pierce as the only option, but Pierce has a game that fits in with other great scorers/players much more easily

Im going with Pierce. I feel like he could get his in much more difficult circumstances than IT. IT is a great scorer but I think you scheme a way for him to get his buckets whereas Pierce always had the ability to get this.

One thing that has to be accounted for is the difference in rules, scheme, and overall league style of play. Think what guys like AI would have done in today's game.

I take nothing away from IT but Im going to go with Pierce due to his more well rounded scoring ability

Pierce.  could score in any number of ways.  was often the leader or top 2 in the league in 4th quarter scoring as well.

The age 27 comparison is kind of unfair as it was one of Pierce's lower scoring outputs of his prime, while it's easily isaiahs best.

Also Paul was so versatile.
