Rondo benched again in 2nd half of game...career on the decline?

Honestly, I think he's been on the decline since we broke up the band. His weaknesses are too many and they've been exposed over the past few seasons.

Question...is Baby out the league?

He's been on the decline since he tore his knee.  Didn't come back the same physically or mentally.  Same with D-Rose.  Sad on both cases.

I think last year with the Kings he showed physically he still has the chops, however I think consistent effort output, especially on the defensive end has led to this benching and overall brought down his quality as a player. If he played defense like he can every night instead of saving himself he would still be a very solid player.

His stats are down, assists included. Frankly I don't think he enjoys playing with Wade who also likes the ball in his hands, and is a dominant veteran to boot. No surprise here for me.

Rondo's game hasn't aged well at all.

Rondo needs a very specific roster composition to work.  It probably can't be re-created.  And I'm not sure he cares enough anymore for it to matter, even if it could.

He had some very memorable years here for a little while, and they were great.  But he'll be in China next year and those days will be long gone.
