Of having Boogie or Jaylen and the right to swap with brooklyn next year plus their pick outright in 2018 what would you take?  I don't think this team is as flawed structurally as people think it is.

Fans are too quick to trade valuable pieces on this roster when we don't have to.

I think this team is in a different position than last time where the draft and young players are a viable option. Smart is starting to come into his own.  I don't see any reason why Brown can't be an attacking quick physical forward on this team.

IT and Smart compliment each other well.  With bradley in there it just gets better. Crowder and Brown  plus we have additional options in Rozier, Jerebko and Green right now.  I think there is room to improve that but not necessarily give up valuable pieces to do that.

We have Horford.  Where we could use some improvement is down low with Amir and KO and Zeller.

We have big physical wing players and that's really our identity right now to go with Horford.

We have a young SF in Brown and draft picks coming.

Nothing has changed in my mind because we lost a close game to the cavs.  We are right there.  Could use some improvement but our identity is the same.

I don't think Ainge scraps that just because we lost a close game.

The celtics are still in the drivers seat.  I think it's funny when Lejerk thinks it's the other way around.   We'll be the underdogs though.

Fans egos are what they are though too. I read the other day that trading Brown and those nets picks for boogie anyone who would say no doesn't understand value.  I think I value what we have just fine thanks.

Fans egos are bruised. They fall off a cliff every time we lose a game.

I know a lot of people won't side with me on this but I'd rather have Jaylen and the picks. I love our team right now except for the fact that we don't have a good rebounding big and I'm really excited to see what we have in Jaylen, once the game slows down for him, he will be drawing fouls left and right and will be that reliable scorer that we need. We have a lot going for us right now and bright future to look forward to.

I would too. I wouldn't mess this up and go all in unless it's absolutely the right move.  I wouldn't sacrifice valuable assets to do that unless it was absolutely where all the stars are aligned.

The Kings are obviously asking for a ton.

HOWEVER, if by some way the Kings lower their asking price to like 2017 Nets Pick + Amir + Rozier + Future NON-Brooklyn Picks... would you do it? Even if the Nets Pick is likely Top-3?

It depends on Boogie really if he is the guy.  I'm almost inclined to give up a pick for a guy like Noel although Boogie is clearly the better player and keep our options open.

I think Boogie fits here in a lot of ways.  I like him but I'm not 100 percent sold, IT, Horford and Boogie is hte best big 3 going. I'm not selling our entire supporting cast for that and future I know that right now.

I get what you are saying, but we would finally have a foundational build for the next 6-7 years type player.

Sign me up...I'd be willing to do any combo of picks if it's just Rozier and AJ....I'd even trade crowder too if we had to....free Brown up and Gerald Green can pick up some more mins too

Throw in whatever picks needed

Boogie is rare.  Why I'm even talking about it.  I still am not sure I would do that deal though.  Sometimes you do have to take a shot because players like that are so rare  and I get it.  But that's just way too much to give up imo.  There are other options in the league.

I'm not even 100 percent sold Boogie is the guy.

I like how we are building with physical wing players.  Jaylen is integral to that and fits our system perfectly as he develops imo.

Just something is more appealing to me about this team when we have IT and Smart and wing players like Bradley and Jaylen plus our assortment of guys like Crowder, Jerebko etc.  We have Horford who I'm not 100 percent sold on myself.  but I wouldn't touch how this team is constructed at it's core right now.  Those picks are valuable and so is Brown.

I think it's different this time where those picks and brown are more valuable in ways.

I'm really fine with this team for the most part.  I think there's potential for something to happen but I'm really fine with this team.

Either way can get the team to Championship Contention.

But I make the trade for Boogie. The more direct and immediate road.

I'd rather do something more creative in ways.  I'm not sold Crowder is going to be here forever. If we want to beat Lebron, Boogie is one way but having an assortment of guys to throw at him could confuse his feeble little mind lol.  Having Brown and Smart and Bradley and adding a gy like Hayward isn't bad either.  We can draft too.   There are other players on the floor who can rebound besides the center position. Horford really needs to show up when it matters.  We need someone else there though too more than likely. I just can see this team developing. Players get better. Bradley is reaching his. Smart is coming into his own.  Brown isn't that far off.

IT really is that good.  I am a believer in IT at this point.  I think he's that good and the pairing of hm and Smart is what we want.  Bradley too.

I don't think losing to the cavs when we almost made a miraculous comeback and were that close to rubbing it in Lebron's face changes things too much.

I think we are missing certain things but talent wise we aren't that far off.  It's a team game and  having IT with Bradley and Smart to go with Jaylen gives us something not many teams have.  That's also not includin g Horford, and Amir and Jerebko and Crowder and other solid roleplayers. Rozier still is improving as well.  Green is going to have his moments.

Zeller and KO are frustrating but have their moments..

Now if we could get a b ig 4 somehow with Boogie and a wing that's  different to me.  I'm not going all in on Boogie just yet though.

I'd continue building some other way. I think that's the best solution.

Assuming Boogie agreed to an extension, I'd probably swallow hard and make the trade. What are the chances any of our picks ever become All-NBA?

Jaylen + both Nets picks?

Well, that's probably the asking price, so, yeah I'd do it.  I mean, I try like hell to negotiate for less, but I'd ultimately do it.

And pray Boogie just needed a solid team culture to get his mind right.  He wouldn't be the first wild personality to do so (i.e. Rodman, Sheed, ZBo, ect.).

I don't think Ainge will agree to that deal though.
