He is the missing piece to make us a contender. This team will be lucky to get out of the first rd with the current roster, with 2nd rd as a ceiling. Cousins gives us a stud to play next to Horford down low, gives us another go to scorer and improves our 3pt shooting. He has also played with IT before so they should have pretty good chemistry.

Bos sends: Amir, Rozier, Jaylen, nets 2017 , future picks(not brk 18)
Sac sends: Boogie

IT.        / Smart
AB       / Green
Jae.     /Jerebko
Horford/ KO
Cousins/ Sanders?

That team is ready to contend, get it done Danny!

I don't believe that cousins is available.

He's the big we need to get buckets when IT and Horford are unable to get open shots.  I'm tired of watching our team against bigger playoff teams get shutout in the closing minutes because they are only focusing on IT or Horford.

I couldn't agree more and I think that's a reasonable trade for both sides.  You can make minor changes to the trade to meet the Kings'demands such as swapping Brown for the 2018 Brooklyn pick or Yabusele for the other pick.  We have a lot to offer and flexibility.

The Kings are going nowhere.  They may be the 8th seed right now, but they're 4 games below .500. Their roster is a mess with a lot of their contributors around 30 years old.  They need to rebuild and we have what they should want.  Vivek is such a wild card though.

Cousins to Celtics is a DEAL that MUST be DONE.

Just so sensitive...  he looks like he is in pain all the time too

A savvy team/vet could easily take Cousins off his game or get him ejected.  Just get under his skin easily..

It takes two sides to make a trade. The Kings NEVER do the smart thing. Unless they want a trade it can't happen no matter what the offer is.

If anything this game tells me not to deal for Cousins

LeBron>Cousins
Irving>IT
Love>Horford

Smart, Brown, Crowder, Jerekbo, Zeller combo killed it. Build around Smart, Brown, and Crowder. Trade IT for Parker. Trade AB for another top 10 pick this draft. And keep building through the draft.

I wouldn't trade Ab but your thinking is sound. Smart, Brown, Crowder, Jerekbo, Zeller did kill it and that's the good news if Brad repeats the combo in future. Smart, Brown, AB are your building blocks. Isn't AB just 25 and improving every year. He's also not undersized playing between Brown and Smart where he can defend point guards like he should be.

Cousins will be the best talent the c's have a shot at acquiring in the next few years.

The brk picks have a shot to be real good , but chances are they will never reach cousins level.

With boogie, we have a 5 yr window to contend and add pieces around that core.

If we hit on all our brk picks it will be 5 years before we are even ready to contend with home grown talent while IT will be up for a new contract, and Horford will be declining.

Now is the time to contend. We didn't sign Horford to a max deal to build through the draft....

You are assuming that Cousins is available.

Agree, but again we're not going to trade both Brooklyn picks and Brown for cousins. If that's the case I'd rather trade for Noel with Rozier, Young and some late firsts like the LAC pick.
Jaylen Brown for All-NBA
