If it wasn't for that IT performance, this would have been a throwaway game.  I'm still not happy giving up 53% shooting to a depleted Heat team.

But that 4th quarter performance from IT was one for the ages.  The crowd definitely got their moneys worth.

Pretty much my sentiments.

If I read another word of IT hate this year, I'm going Boogie on the perpetrator till I'm banned for life.

I'm with you, bro.
Preach brothas. Some people don't understand how dynamic this guy is. He was being taken for granted by this board

He disappeared against Cleveland.  Bring it on!

It's funny to watch people get excited against a team that has 10 wins.  Props to IT for his 4th quarter barrage.  I hope it's his first step to single handedly bringing us banner 18 because that's what it sounds like.

who do you recommend we trade him for?

Don't act like it's that simple.  If the right deal comes along everyone on this board would say do it.  Let's just leave it that despite his performance tonite and being the teams leading scorer, he has enough other deficiencies to deem him tradeable.

Has a 5'9" guy ever scored 52?

I doubt in the NBA .

Spud had few nice games tho

Calvin Murphy scored 57 in 1978.

I just searched and the only other guys under 6 feet to score 50+ I could find are Dana Barros (50 in 1995 for PHI), Damon Stoudamire (54 in 2005) and Michael Adams (54 in 1991 for DEN).

I would not have realized it wasn't that simple the way you keep saying he should be traded.

Once again I said earlier he had 31 points and 9 assists against Cleveland last night. You tell me how he disappeared. IT was there, but our team that couldn't help him carry the load

I remember people saying the same things about Paul, too.

This blog has greatly disappointed me lately.

People were more positive in 06' than they are now, which boggles my mind.

We have flaws that are obvious, but this guy is something else, it honesty seems like that could be the case.

Maybe against Brooklyn or the 76ers, but I doubt that. Scoring 52 is unbelievable in itself

What cracks me up is when those in the media say 'when the Celtics acquire that superstar' they'll contend. They have the superstar.  It's just a matter of surrounding him with the right parts.  Upgrade the Amir/KO position and there's enough here to contend.

As IT said in the post game, people still hold his size against him.

The media is so braindead on so many things.  Listening to Chris Forsberg right now.  Some of these people are more clueless than people realize.
