This one is short but I thought some of you might still enjoy it.

Looks like some more rookie hazing for Jaylen. Marcus is tough on him but I think Marcus is a great role model for him. He is toughening him up and making sure he is not going to be soft, I like it.

I think Jaylen looks a little soft. Smarts really tough but Brown has 4 inches on Smart. I expect more out if Brown.

I really like this duo; they cover up their deficiencies perfectly. Smart can cover up jaylen's lapses on D while Jaylen can draw defenders to make life easier for Smart on the offensive end.
Jaylen Brown for All-NBA

Would be curious, does anyone have any advanced stats of how the team performs with these two on the court? offense and defense

My favorite player in the league!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's how you bleepin' practice.

Teach that rookie to be tough and put your chest right up into him.  Brown needs to learn how to stand up to that because other guys in the league are gonna do it.  Love to see Smart challenging Brown and trying to turn him into a competitor like him and Green and Isaiah.  You need both that intensity and that swagger to be a good one-on-one scorer.

I bet it didn't feel good getting the stare down from a dude 4 inches shorter than you and probably 20 pounds bigger.

Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

To me, you are Jaylen Brown and posts about yourself in the 3rd person.

Marcus is built like a Rottweiler .....with a short fuse.  Jaylen knows better than screw with someone who's arms are as big as your legs .   LOL

Flattening Jaylen is good tuffness practice.....because guys like DWade , Jimmie Bulter , sure aren't afraid to knock him on his butt.

Marcus is like a Marine drill instructor.  He an't cutting him no slack.   Old vets will abuse him , Marcus showing him how it's done .

Kelly could stand some FIGHT being put in his game.

Its crazy how he is looked at with his leadership role at just the age of 22, I find that mind boggling. It makes me wonder what type of leader he will be when he is 26

I hope Brown can really learn from this and toughen up. Love the kid but he's gotta be a lot more aggressive.

Now if only Smart could do that in something meaningful....oh wait. He can't. It won't take that long for Jaylen to be a significantly better player.

Hopefully Smart doesn't turn into a big jerk, but can still teach toughness, hard balance.

And Brown I hope gets tougher, he could be a really good player
