Brad loses another game for us by "just letting them play" instead of drawing up an ATO, which, you know, he's notoriously good at.

Terrible coaching. He's been very subpar all year long. Absolutely hate not calling timeouts in those situations. So Stupid.

How's he been sub-par? Brad knew that the Cavs have been doubling IT all game off the screen. Runs a Pick and Pop with Crowder. Crowder gets and open 3 and he misses.
Crowder just missed the [dang] shot

It was a good shot, just didnt go down. The crap call when Lebron tripped cost us the game though.

A top of the key three pointer with 9 seconds to go down 2 is not a good shot in that situation, even if it was from a 40% three point shooter. It wasn't even like it was a set shot either; he was coming off of a screen. Terrible, terrible possession. It was only matched by that blatantly bad call for Lebron. So ridiculous that we've got screwed over on so many late-game calls from the refs.

Brad is renowned for his ATO plays, and he should've set one up to take the last shot. That possession was terrible.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

The bright thing is that Cleveland can not play much better then that. We can...

One could even argue this is a blowout win.  It's not that we close the lead, they let us.  They played against us the way we played against inferior teams early in the season.  I love this team but we need some major upgrade.  Damarcus Cousins to be specific.

This is why it's  not good to go all in on these overpriced guys.  Horford could become a bad situation but I doubt it. He's solid enough but we possibly could have done better there.

If we draft someone he's here for his contract and nothing more.

I maintain that were an impact player away from being a contender. Good effort from our guys but the outcome was expected.
Might need an impact coach too. Look to see if Horford is held accountable for his one rebound tonight.

God Horford is terrible.

He's not but he's not worth 26 million

At least 10 GMs disagree with you!  ;)

I see your point though, it could be the first time in the history of the NBA that you sign a max guy in free agency with the realistic target year for a ring being the following year when another max guy is signed, or more likely year 3 or 4. He was never brought to be the number 1 option on  the offensive end, and his rebounding numbers, whilst stong, are not elite.

Why did Horford play only 29 minutes?

That was a good look.  Just didn't go down.  Open 3 for the lead.  Definitely a good look.  Agreed on the horrible calls on the kicked ball that wasn't even touched and Smart foul on Bron ... didn't even touch him.  Hard to overcome the superstar calls.  But, solid effort.  Nothing to be ashamed of.

Why did Horford play only 29 minutes?

Because the second team went on a nice run.

Another game incompetent officiating killed us toward the end.

That "kick ball" call was atrocious. His foot was nowhere near that. Just a terrible, terrible job of officiating.

This is why you must have Coach Challenges. Astounding how incompetent officiating is.

Yeah its hard to believe in the NBA fair competition when this stuff happens regularly and the TV commentators and officials gloss over it.

It's so disheartening. The refs weren't too terribly bad overall tonight (compared to other games we've had anyways), but you simply can't miss a call like that. It's not like it was even that close either.

If you look at the box you can see who had the + in the plus/minus tonight and it's no surprise:JC, JJ,JB,MS,TZ. Those guys should've been aloud to close out the game. It was their game at that point.
