He had an encore last night. It was a beauty to watch 19 points in 19 minutes. Hope fully he can have have a few of those in round 2 of the playoffs.

Obviously his shooting was the highlight of his game last night, but his energy level matched up nicely with his teammates.  He was trading sheen lose balls and making an effort to get up in guys faces on D.  Great stuff.

his strengths are what we need over the 2nd half and inplayoffs
as the league settles into the 2nd half some teams stop playing defence with any commitment
green is another weapon for brad

You were proven as an astute sage last night. Gerald turned that into an easy win. Jaylen Brown was having too many growing pains. Green made the best of the opening. Zeller got his chance due to foul trouble. I felt bad for him. I feel bad for James Young. But they have some good money I don't. They have jobs where there is a finite number of people who make it.

Green is proven. Hopefully Brad continues to develop Brown and Green as Celtics and it just makes sense.

Gerald Green is in the Humphries/Bass/Gerald Wallace role as far as I can tell. A lot of the team is like that. One year deals.

It forces players to avoid complacency. Gerald has definitely been acting hungry for the last week or two. He put his money where his play is. He was on fire. That was Eddie House styled money off the bench.

I still can't believe Danny cut RJ Hunter after what he did against the Knicks in preseason.

i have yet to see green unleashed in transition but that rebound back to three point line and that rebound that he took from corner to score baseline were perfect examples of what he is here to do-shoot and shoot again
from what is being said about practices by brad, the kid can score,isaiah says he is a great shooter
green seems to me to be a young 30 and still is quick-watch the routes he ran -he was flying and nice elevation on jumpers-he doesn't think twice
his drive down the middle showed restraint i expected explosive elevation and marcus threw away some type of lob
marcus likes him,his teammates like him they were overjoyed and now boston likes him
till he starts missing
but you got to admit he gets himself open and doesn't hesitate thats his job

He was great, got us back in a comfortable lead. I'm not to salty about the jaylen minutes thing as I think we all know how streaky Gerald can be

Marquis Daniels and Tony Allen used to go back and forth battling over the same minutes.

Maybe there is room for everyone.

But Zeller looked lost as if he wasn't ready mentally. He looks soft on the bench collecting big money. James Young has a lot of money. Those guys could probably go to Europe or somewhere else and become all-stars. The NBA is brutal.

Green, unlike Zeller, is to be commended for being ready and playing well. Maybe Brown and Green can share a rotation role. If styles make the fight, maybe it is counterproductive to give one guy the job and the other the doghouse. All teams present different challenges.

I think Jaylen Brown is worth sticking with even if it is for just a five minute stint per game. We will want him ready by next year if not by the end of this one. He is our future, whether he turns into a star or is a trade piece.

Rozier is a third offensive weapon off the bench to go with Green and Brown. We shall see how the minutes play out.

Tomorrow should be a game where our stars get extra minutes and Brad attacks for the win. Cleveland, like Memphis, is a veteran team, so it looks like Green will get another chance.

When we finally get back to playing some scrub teams, then maybe young players such as Rozier and Brown can get more court time.
