Poll

All our first rounders from 2018 to 2019. We keep the Nets pick this year.

Yes. Easy decision.
No. Too much.

2019 Celtics 1st
2019 Memphis 1s

And James Young is the throw in. Salaries work, would you make this trade.

Yes, but why would Indy agree to do this?

But you do that trade nine times out of ten. Especially if George isn't leaving, and you got a good chance to resign him.

For the Pacers they Tank this year and add a legit star prospect around Myles Turner and they will have our Nets pick the following year, plus three more picks to rebuild there sorry team.

For the Celtics we win now. Sign Milsap and we are ready to rumble with the Cavs and Raptors.

Would you add Smart or Rozier to that package without hesitating?

Not a huge fan of Millsap. I don't think he's going to age well, and I would rather see what pieces we would have, and even then our assets are still the 17 Nets pick and Jaylen Brown.

Honestly if the Pacers could be able to draft well, there's still the possibility of Clippers or Grizzlies pick ending up in late lotttery.

Yes I'd do the initial trade, although I imagine the starting price is both Net's picks, some of the other firsts you listed, and some of our core players. That would give me pause.

Neither Smart nor Rozier change my mind about it. I'd move both Net's picks and Rozier for PG13 today. I would start to hesitate as guys like Bradley and Crowder were brought in to that deal. Additionally if you assume PG13 makes an All-NBA team trading him is probably the only way you get him. The designated veteran exception in the new CBA makes it extremely likely that he will stay with Indiana.

Paul George is overrated as hell.  Why anyone would pay that much for him is beyond me.

Paul George may be overrated, but he's the perfect player for today's NBA. If we're just giving up picks, I woudn't mind giving up the Nets, or Clippers. Grizzlies, I would be a little weary on. But picks are just picks, and chances are none of them are going to be better than George.

Yes. Definitely Rozier, but smart would really sting as he looks to be the leader here.

You may not be a fan of Milsaps and that's fine, but we need a PF and he's a top give two way PF in the league right now.

If we could pull that off you'd have to let it ride for a few years cause we would be blessed to see a team that could actually battle and possibly beat the Cavs as LeBron ages (Hopefully)

I'm starting to think he's a cyborg or something.

 Horford
 Milsap
 George
 Bradley
 Thomas

Just look at that staring five. It's impressive.
With Smart, Crowder, Brown off the bench. That's a heck of and 8 man rotation to build around.

Also replace Smart with Thomas and we have an excellent rebounding team then. George and Bradley and Milsap all give you 7 RPG or More throw in Horford and Smart and that's a great rebounding team.

  • Celtic's only raise championship Banners
D'andre Ayton is a Karl Towns/AD/MVP type player and he will be in the 2018 draft. I'm not new to the Ayton bandwagon...have been on since he was a hs soph. If Ainge decides to go in another direction it would be huge to have 2 top picks in the 2018 draft. If Ayton goes #1 we could package both picks for him.

In 2018 we have BOTH Nets and Celts pick...among others. This year/before the deadline DA should have the option to evaluate the team and if a good deal comes up or he can get creative and trade IT/AB/Crowder/Horford/etc for legit young talent. Especially if he does not like the value IT and AB will hold next year as rentals and he does not want them to walk or pay them.

The absolute minimum for PG13 would be both Nets picks and i'd guess they'd want some young talent also (Rozier or Jaylen).
George worldwide top 10 caliber player, those don't come cheap.

I'd happily give Indy what they want (within reason), George would put us over the top, or at the very least it would make us compete with Cleveland.

21 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and average shooting stats doesn't scream elite superstar to me.  When I've seen him live he hasn't dominated.  Advanced stats aren't impressive either.  Convince me that he's worth 2 Nets picks.  I don't see it.
