Let's get a evenly reffed game and we should come out on top

Need to avenge that disgusting loss when the refs totally jobbed us.

Celtics are getting coal in their stockings this year.

I HATE green! I even hate any two colors (blue combined with yellow) that equal green!

Key to the game is melo not getting ejected in the first quarter and battling the refs the rest of the game

Another key is that no ref stands in front of Melo so he hurts his ankle, like he did against Boston last year.

Bradley is Tough. Hopefully they put crowder on Melo.

Losston Sucktics favored by 2 points.

Boy do I want this win. Drose is key. We need him to neutralize that little elf. Go point for point.

A win vs. Boston & we'll knock Boston from the 3rd seed to the 5th seed, while N.Y climbs from the 5th seed; to the 3rd seed.

All I want for Christmas is for Marcus Blart to eat Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. and die

Time to deliever Boston some coal.

Daily reminder that Superstar Al Horford is getting outrebounded by a 6'2 SG.

Can this game go into triple OT so I have a proper excuse to drink more and ignore family?

**** to the kings giving away Isaiah.

Oh man, My Christmas is ruined, Lance Thomas is in

Horn needs to end the Lance experiment.

He has no choice but to keep trying. We got this scrub for 4 more years

Hopefully they keep letting Jerebko shoot

Eventually shots will start falling for the Celtics.

Wow.. Kelly olynyk's neck beard looks awful. Somebody should tell him

The game plan for Kelly Olynyk should be exactly the same as the one for Lance Thomas...chase him off the three point line and he's more likely to do you a favor than help his team in any way.

Smart fouls every single play. I'm really getting sick of how dirty him and Amir are

If we're playing badly, Boston is playing worse. Wait til Melo and KP get going.

Gerald has 4 fingers

Getting beat on boards by Celtics is unacceptable

Knicks getting out rebounded by one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA. Of course.

Boston plays so ugly ball... Their success is 80% on Stevens

Marcus Smart is such a flopper. I hope the Knicks players flop around him so he can get a taste of his own medicine.

These refs suck! How the hell is IT allowed to call a timeout?

Crowder always feasts

Glad the Celtics are punching the Knicks in the mouth. Wake the hell up.

Crowder owns Melo

Crowder aka the biggest mistake

Stop with the Ref bashing. The Celtics are out hustling the Knicks. Quit being a homer.

First game was all refs This one is on us

We are not a good team.. We cant play defense at all.

3 straight 3pt shots from a known bad shooter is straight up bull... happens only to us

Who is a known bad shooter? Crowder is about 40% on the year from distance and flirting with 50/40/90 this year.

Come on man Crowder is not a bad shooter and he has something against Melo

Hahsujavidkabxidndid [dang]it Boston can't miss Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. man

Celtics play some really awful brand of bball.. Uglly as hell... Idk if it's efficient!!

Thomas a [dang] demon getting to the paint smh

THere was about 5 fouls that could've been called on the Celtics in that play.

The Celtics aren't a good rebounding team. Second chance points the reason why they're up.

ESPN loves Boston

Not sure how I feel about Melo going to the free throw line so much. Is this a good thing?

Kelly Olynk is an inbred Amish child that never came back from Rumspringa

Eww, Smart shoots 36% from the field

Refs refuse to call travels on the Celtics

The Celtics are filled with punchable players F*** jae crowder and his overrated ass.

This is easily the most hateable team, non-Warriors division

Melo for Crowder who says no??

Horford's impressive.

Knicks are still in it. Gotta clean up a few things. Celtics looking like the [dang] Spurs.

Let's stay off of national TV forever

Too bad the Celtics became the Warriors all of the sudden

Oh look some garbage officiating vs Boston     My Take: at this point, the Knicks had shot 19 free throws to 7 for the Celtics and they are complaining about the officiating.. Go figure

Isaiah Thomas is so annoying

Disgraceful officiating Yet still better than the 1st Boston game

I'm supposed to believe two of these refs are from Brooklyn while they slobber all over the Celtics?

It's a sad day when Marcus f***ing smart is getting superstar calls

Gotta give Boston the +8 ref handicap Awesome

The main problem is... Crowder is in the Melo’s brain.

Crowder is a grade A fouler. I can't believe how much Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. they let him get away with.

Refs rewarding the Celtics for being clumsy

How is Horford surprised by a double T there?

Because he’s an entitled little Boston Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.

If a Knick was snarling at the refs like horford just did he would get arrested

Boston thrives on getting teams out of their rhythm

Celtics decided to turn it on and that was it

Every time we play the Celtics its something with the refs

I don't get how you guys are blaming the refs. We couldn't stop a college team right now.

That's BS if they wanna let them play physical let them but let us too don't call it one sided

Reputation matters. Shocked this is even being debated. Boston normally plays this way, which is why they are allowed.

You just aren't penalizing the team for what they are. All defensive minded team are allowed to......defend. Just like teams that attack the rim relentlessly and have high paces usually get the benefits of free throws. What you want is a known soft team to be rewarded for things they rarely do. We've gotten more free throws I think despite being soft. The refs excuse is nonexistent.

Melo is probably the most inconsistent star player in the NBA

Celtics playing good D period

Ok their playing as a team is beating us....

Melo hates the Celtics

Brad Stevens such a good coach. Good time out.

No Knick can guard Thomas

IT is beast

I think it is unlikeky that the Knicks and Celtics will face each other in the playoffs, but going by this game, it would be an awesome playoff series. I love how these teams are getting in each other's faces.

Crowder trying to bait Melo into a tech

What Crowder crying about?

He's probably sad that he looks like an emaciated Mark Henry.

How the heck do you let Bradley beat you lol

I hate Marcus scrub ass Smart

Worst part is that Celtics aren't even good.

Rose lol you can’t elbow people in face.

**** u smart

What a flopper bit his own tongue just to spill some blood

DRose made sure flop king earned his flop

Bleed out mother******

I mean he barreled straight at the dude and pushed his elbow out at him, there have been some horseEdited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. calls this game, but that wasn’t one of them.

I hope he lost a tooth

Marcus smart ol tarantula head a**

I don’t root for guys to get hurt but honestly smart probably deserves that more than any other player in the league

Smart had the blood capsules in his mouth, taking flopping to another level

Well it's good to know that Marcus Smart is really committing to his flops now

Kelly Olynk is reallly better than Dirk so we're f***ed And Jerebko will fulfill his destiny as low budget Bond film villain

Gerald Green, scrub personified

Olynk is such a punk

If you're Boston and you scream after a shot you get automatic free throws

Why do the Celtics have like 30 technical free throws???

This Celtic team is extremely unlikeable

Unfortunately it looks like we lose our powers every time we play the Celtics

Melo likes to go 1 v 1 against crowder Even though Crowder is one of the better defenders against him. He tries the same crap against Kawhi.

Refs, no refs, Celtics just outplayed the Knicks. It's that simple.

Dudes like Kelly Olynk and Marcus Smart shuffling their feet looking awkward on offense yet are still able to make shots. You can't make this nonsense up man.

Hard to defend when the refs don't allow it

The next time a Celtic sets a stationary screen...it will be the first

I'm tired of watching a league that officiates by reputation. The Celts are known for defense so they get away with mugging and the Knicks aren't known for defense so every little touch is a foul.

Jeff's getting outcoached again in a big game!!

The Celtics are garbage

Celtics depends solely on REFS! Their whole game structured around their biased calls.

These refs need to be executed.

These MFs have some nerve putting Marcus smart to defend KP. The Knicks need to man up and throw the ball to KP downlow each time Marcus Smart is guarding him.

Knicks don't really deserve this but it's always 8-5 against the Celtics

Celtics are simply better than us in every facet.

Funny that this team desperately needs a player like crowder

MFn isiah Thomas pushes off each time he drives into the lane.

It was ugly getting here, but with a minute left and a tie at home, we should win this. Lets fn go.

IT is too good.

Now we gotta solve how to guard IT while still guarding the 3pt line *gulp*

Brad Stevens is a devil on inbounds play off TO, watch out team

Of course f***ing Smart makes 3s when they count

When did Marcus Smart turn into Ray Allen

I hate players like Marcus Smart Terrible 3pt shooters that turn into Steph curry against the Knicks.

Marcus Smart of all the people

Crowder flops and gets the call.

I rather have just lost the other way

Carmelo is hot garbage. No other way around it.

Smart can't shoot but we put people in a comfort zone.

Nothing u can do. Smart couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat and dude makes everything today

Great comeback, but Boston is better than us - and is getting the Nets lottery pick this and next seasons.

Knicks basketball. Anybody but Thomas. Thomas gets it

Horford made a great play, not many people can rotate and block a 7’3 jumpshot

Celtics are a good team. We shall see them again

The Celtics have 4 good defenders in their starting lineup.

When we'll get a defensive co-ordiantor maybe we'll be a watchable team

Well fix a few things are we are almost as good as Boston -- basically a wash.

I don't think so.. They have better individual defensive players than NY and they take care of the ball better than NY also.

Celtics should be a putrid offensive team. Only Horford and IT can score and yet they drop 110+ on us.

When Marcus Smart is making shots then you can only tip your hat

*****ing bull**** Marcus smart. Couldn't have done that again if he tried 100 more times

The talent level is equivalent, IMO. They just play better as a team. They move the ball, play great team defense, extremely well-coached. They don't waste possessions.

NYC's best basketball has always been in Ruckers.  The Knicks want to be NBA relevant but they have one championship and a pile of teams that were not good enough, try to be understanding of their bitterness.  They are rarely a championship town but think they are the center of the world.

thanks for the thread, an interesting read. a post-christmas tp for your reward.  ;D

wow, a good number of the posts are plain mean spirited and violent. the game threads here swing between joy and despair in a flash, but i dont see cb wishing harm to other people. good for us.

at the same time, there were reasonable posters as well.

i agree with the last few posts. the celtics are simply a better coached and better run team with better defenders.  ;D

Some of those comments made me chuckle and they clearly take advantage of the relaxed posting guidelines but the majority just highlight what a bunch of sad, butt hurt wretches they are.

Few comments there about Celtics bball being ugly!!! :o
From a team who cant pass a ball!
Celtics had 95! more passes in the game and 25:11 assists.

HAHAHAHAHA that was a hilariously good read. A compliment to the Celtics.

There should be a thread here about the best line in that thread.

I particularly like the post that said Boston is better than the Knicks and they get the Nets lottery pick the next two drafts.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!

Those fans should be ashamed of themselves. I tend to read those entries after wins. There is always one or two persons saying how they want to punch such and such in the face, but that thread seemed to have more meanies than usual.

It's probably to do with what the person said above how we should pity the Knicks. Whatever we went through during the title drought, that has been pretty much their entire history except for brief success in the 70's.

And the Knicks have been one of the more spectacular failures spending lots of money with not much to show for it. Their current team seems to form the ultimate treadmill.

I've never believed in Carmelo Anthony. He is clearly talented, but he doesn't seem to have any of the intangibles winners possess.

Whatever Marcus Smart has which makes him a true competitor, Carmelo lacks, imho.

Wow, what unknowledgeable, whiny fans.

I know we complain about the officiating at times, but there are legitimately large disparities when we do it. The count was 20-23 on fouls, which is primarily explained by them fouling to stop the clock at the end, and they had 7 more free throws than us lol

Also, it's laughable that they said the C's are the team that plays ugly basketball. Seriously? A Knicks  team that relies almost exclusively on isolation basketball is saying C's basketball is ugly when we're a top assist team in the league?  That's rich. Keep propogating the dumb, homer fan stereotypes, Knicks fans!

And I think Crowder and Smart are doing something right in that they're hated so much by opposing fans lol

"ESPN Loves Boston"

Coming from New York Fans LOL

Yeah, no joke. How else does a Knicks franchise that hasn't done anything in years get a Christmas Day game—and a home one at that? Boston had to actually earn its way back onto the Christmas Day schedule with a couple of good seasons.

As for all the Knicks fans' comments, there's a lot of funny stuff in there, this being my favorite:

Wow.  Sounds just like Celtics fans.
I feel like they are slightly more ridiculous in complaining about officiating and "ugly basketball" than we usually are.

However, it does go to show how whiny it looks when complaining about officiating.
