we didnt lose to referees or to Westbrook
we lost to Sabonis and Kanter
cos we have Crowder and Olynyk instead of quality players and we HAVE NO palyers who can make SHOTS in last minutes other than IT which hurt our results

Soooo, why do they keep letting Westbrook shoot?

We're not letting him...

Seems like they are. They're not forcing him to give up the ball.

That last one he had a Marcus and Avery double team, and he pulled up for a 27-footer with a hand in his face.  The only thing they could have done differently was foul him intentionally.

  • GOT IT!!!
MVP no doubt. C''s rely too much on IT late in games. Won't fly in the playoffs.

Russel is metahuman
He doesnt even get tired.
MVP in my book no question

If he keeps this up he's MVP or maybe Harden and OKC could've had both and KD but cheaped out! They should've won at least three tittles.

boy, westbrook just had two great great shots. cant stop that.

oh well. without an unconscious sabonis the celtics win this one. i found the two team well matchined in talent levels.

celtics should have won, but missed too many bunnies. thus it goes sometimes.

Isn't this what usually happens in Celtics losses lately? Some unproven player scores a career high, or the opponent hits a bunch of insane shots? Funny how often it happens to Boston.
what quite sure that this has a point.

Point No. 1 is that Boston has a habit of allowing lesser players to have success against them, like Sabonis and Kanter each getting 20 tonight, or Davis Bertans in the first Spurs game.

Point No. 2 is that Boston seems to have quite a few games in which the opponent "just has one of those insane hot-shooting nights," but don't worry, we're told, it doesn't happen often. Except it does.

We'll get Westbrook.  The refs gave him a lot of calls this game.

agreed. there just was no stopping westbrook in the end of the game. credit to him for this.

but the celtics played well, not great, and were very close to winning. as the season wears on the celtics as a team can improve. OKC is shackled to westbrook's individual ability.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

We played really good tonight and just off a 4 game winning streak and got beat at the end by possible MVP. Celtics look good.

IT looks more confident now (and last game) than at any time in his career. I think he may will us to a win here...

I'd like to nominate this for the dumbest + most inaccurate post in the thread.

Russ is a cocky little ****.  Hope his one-man show is all he has ever dreamtd of 'cuz there's no chance of him even sniffing a title in OKC.

Yeah, he can have these kinds of games until the cows come home, but OKC (as constructed) has virtually no shot at a title. If Westbrook can even sustain this pace the rest of the season, he'll hit a wall in the playoffs.
