in 5 games rj scoring 18.5 point per game for windy city bulls in d league but shooting is horrible 31% from field and 19% from three
and that is shooting 9 three pointers per game with  16 fg attempted per game while playing 34 min

nader over 9 games is shooting about 50% from field and 44% from three at 5.3 attempts per game- and nader is averaging 24 pts

also whats going on with portis

Nothing new, he was a volume scorer, and never a shooter.

RJ Hunter??

Rollie knew he couldn't start yet another Nader thread so he is masking it as an RJ struggling thread and then comparing him to our future superstar. Thanks for the update on Nader Rollie  ;)

never have i said nader is a superstar but he is better than rj and young-and he is not a chucker
legit height ,weight and elite length very good left hand young can't use his right

i follow celts discards powell ,frazier and watch winslow stats, portis ,stanley-also dunn, heild, murry
then there is monitoring of yabusele and zizic

fully intended that post on rj but saw the comp in shooting
rj was a favorite of mine but had to give up on him because of his physique and shooting %
-portis i thought we should have drafted

not sure i understand nader's relationship with the celtcis. isnt he in the dleague and not the 15 man roster? if so, cant nader sign with any team?

here, this article sheds some light on the matter.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Boy I remember getting tortured for saying Rozier was a better shooter than RJ his their first preseason together. RJ is a poor shooter. Plain and simple and he is no longer a Celtic so who cares that he still sucks.

As for Nader....mediocre talent. He might be on the Celtics second team someday but I wont hold my breath waiting for that to happen. Like Colton Iverson, Nader will be stashed forever, imho.

He's a "Heustis" stash, not on the 15-man roster so theoretically could sign with any team.  However, he might not have been drafted if he didn't agree to be stashed.

I could see Nader being a Danny Green type in the nba.

I thought the Celtics still hold his rights and that's why they wanted him to agree to the D league.

Rollie, do you have an update to report on any of these players....Powell, Portis or Murray?

Knowing what you know now...would you rather have Portis or Rozier?

Answer to the Nader questions: According to this article from last fall, the Celtics maintain Nader's rights for the year, so he can't be signed by another team this season.

http://boston.cbslocal.com/2016/08/24/boston-celtics-abdel-nader-d-league/
Quote
A situation like that was an ideal scenario for the Celtics with their overcrowded roster, making Nader a long shot to make the team’s final 15-man roster for next season. Instead, the 22-year-old could get some seasoning in the D-League with Boston still maintaining his NBA rights for next year.
