Towns is averaging 22.3 ppg, 11.1 rpg, 2.4 apg, 1.4 bpg, 0.7 spg shooting 34% from three, 51.9% from two, and 78.7% from the line.  He has already had 2 games this year of at least 40 points and 15 rebounds.

The Wolves just aren't very good as a team.  Towns however is a monster.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Sac is not a very good team. The timberwolves have young talent and aren't very good. There's a difference there between numbers.

Towns is not a guy who is going to carry us to a championship by himself.  Trading Horford for him is silly.

Yeah if it equalled us getting 2 pieces for one maybe in some way.  Towns could play a role as a young player.

He's a better young talent than Noel.  But the cost factor.

There are ways where it isn't horrible but it's basically like going into the draft with Towns already here vs getting jackson and Ayton like i was saying in another thread.  We are going younger and then hoping Towns would grow into that guy.   It doesn't really work that way. We are then becoming a young team like minny and have consistency issues.  With Horford here as a staple we have better options to actually add a piece or go into the draft which add to the stability and flexibility of this team.  We have Amir but he's not going to last forever as a veteran player.  He's not that good either.

Last few Walker threads  ;D

Because trading Horford for Towns makes no sense whether it's 1 year or for 1 year.  Horford is a better player and fits what we are trying to do with IT.

People have said they would take Towns because of his potential.   The Celtics are trying to win a title and have a situation where it's conducive to doing that.

Towns is too young to do that on his own.

This is awesome. I don't even join the conversation and I get a response as if I did!

The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I think most of you are weird so it works out.  Most of you have no clue what the celtics are even trying to do.  That's weird when you are a fan of a team.

Danny Ainge.  "We are the Boston Celtics".   We aren't tanking or Sac or the Timberwolves.

We're now trading Horford for towns.  People on the internet thinking people are weird is kind of an oxymoron don't you think?

Most of you are very self involved weirdos and don't realize it.  All aboard the celtics train.  It's leaving the station.

I'm nicer than that but that's funny. I just try to see what the celtics and people are trying to do.  Makes sense to me.  You are trying to trade Horford for Towns.
