Stanley Johnson's stock plummeting

 With a report that John Wall, Stanley Johnson and very Reggie Jackson being available, I wanted to see how Stanley was doing in his sophomore year.

 He's doing bad, really bad. A favorite player of mine from that draft I was surprised he was selected before Winslow.

 He's a great kid with a beast of a body. 250 pounds of muscle.

  He's a very good athlete, especially in transition, however he is not explosive jumping off of two feet, from a standstill. I would still love to take a flyer on the kid if he could be had for cheap. Any ideas of what it would take to get a former  number 8 pick in the draft.

 He avg over 8 ppg and 4 RPG last year in 23 mpg.

 This year 13 mpg 3.4 ppg and 2rpg. They have Tobias Harris but something is going on it can seems.

I thought he was suffering from Marcus Smart type offense woes and small injuries. Add in Harris being ahead of him and of course it looks bad. Pistons shouldn't give up on him though.

I was high on Johnson as a prospect and I think he can still turn out well.  I'd like to see him get moved but I don't think we're the right team for him.  He wouldn't get much playing time for us.

We have three players like that, but if you go with 'Somebody's' trade proposal with Young and Green, then we would consolidate that into two in Brown and Johnson.

In all seriousness, I agree that he is not a great fit here, but I would still love to have him if he came cheap.

Johnson could be a Draymond Green type player, whereas Brown is more like an Igoudala.

They are both versatile, and both came into the league as 3s, but their roles are different.
