What is Al Jefferson doing for the C's right now? We're talking drafting and our current big situation lil bro, the Al Jefferson selection has been done a good 12 years now.

And it's still paying dividends.

Look at all the stuff we got for trading KG.

Okay that's a fair from an overall GM perspective. But we haven't done anything with the Nets picks yet, Young is exiled from the parquet floor, and Brown is playing 10 mins at a time. I have faith, but Danny can't screw this up.

Horford and KO are Jeff Green (and Sheed) all over again. The nightmare continues

During the Nets trade we also acquired a trade exception, which we used to acquire Zeller and a Cavs pick  first rd pick. That pick was used to obtain Thomas.

Quote
The Boston Celtics will acquire Tyler Zeller, Marcus Thornton, a 2016 first round draft pick as a part of a three-way deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Brooklyn Nets, according to ESPN's Marc Stein. The Nets and Cavaliers have been trying to find a third team to take on Thornton's expiring contract and the Celtics were able to use part of their $10.3 million trade exception to absorb it.

Boston acquired Isaiah Thomas in exchange for Marcus Thornton and the Cleveland Cavaliers' 2016 first-round draft pick.

I feel bad for Horford--he goes from playing along side Paul Millsap....to playing with a Group of SOFT "Big" guys....Olynyk needs a good butt-kicking---no way he should be as soft as he is....Amir has ONE good game out of Ten...Zeller looks like he's on weed all game...awful group of bigs on this team--Mickey sucks too.

Bring over Zizic asap...or trade for Bogut--someone who does NOT get pushed around....Pretty sad when your leading rebounder is also your shooting guard--AND your best defender.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Sully would have been a better choice at PF.  But I get Ainge is keeping things fluid.  Hopefully he can now bring real athletic big men to replace KO and Zelller and Amir because none of them are it.

Yeah, he is really helping Toronto, this year.   What a bonehead move to let a guy go who has not played for his new team.  Exactly, how would that help us?  Do you magically think that his foot would not have go hurt here?  That is funny say "hi" to Santa for me, will you?

I agree we need to ditch Amir and our bigs are a problem area.   I think Ainge ought to bring in McHale to teach or help us draft a decent big.   Ainge, himself seems incapable of drafting a starter level big.   To me that includes Sully, who could not shoot a lick, was a one trick pony with rebounds and thought he was all world.  KO is too soft.

I still think Horford was a good signing, he is a better upgrade in every category save rebounding over Sully.  I do not share your enthusiasm over Yab.   Zizic, I would like to see.
And al Jefferson was chopped liver?  ;D

Okay, one guy is all Danny has to hang his hat on? What is Al Jefferson doing for the C's right now?

He was part of the trade that brought KG that brought a title.

LOL
