I've been told there was a bomb threat against Celtics/their plane, but they landed in OKC, bags were searched and everything is "all fine."

In case anybody is wondering, worst case scenario you can think of in this situation, the NBA has a plan for that.

From wikipedia:
Quote
The National Basketball Association (NBA) contingency plan activates if five or more players on a team "die or are dismembered". A special "disaster draft" would be held in which other NBA teams could only protect five players, so that quality sixth men would be available. No more than one player would be drafted from a team.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

It's kind of morbid to think about, but who do you think we would pick?

Wow.  Taking a look at rosters around the league, this scenario is a basketball disaster (of course, secondary by an incalculable magnitude to the human tragedy).

I'm guessing it's just there so the team that has this happen could at least field a professional roster and the owners would have some reason not to cash out. If a team just had to find 15 people off the street, no prospects etc. people would probably stop watching and it would take years to even be good enough to have product you could get people to tune into. On the other hand, the sympathy factor and the intrigue of basically watching a real life version of Major League might carry it.
How do you feel about websites where people with similar interests share their opinions?

Who are the 5 the Warriors would protect?

Durant
Klay
Steph
Dray
Andre I

So we could nab David West?

Honestly I think Ainge would take all expiring contracts and rookie contracts.

Better question, if you were the Celtics who would you protect?

Horford
IT
Bradley
Young
Crowder
Smart

Tough call

Ainge trying to clear the cap.

Is it sad that in this serious situation, I just balled out laughing for a few minutes reading this...

Lol. I laughed writing it. The funniest jokes come out of serious matters, my friend.
