Isaiah Austin, the former Baylor basketball star who was diagnosed with Marfan syndrome during his 2014 NBA draft combine workout, has been cleared by doctors to return to playing basketball

Holy crap, really?  That's great news for him.  I don;t know if any NBA teams will take a flyer on him, but he seems like a guy that legitimately loves basketball.  This is really good news (although he should get checked out pretty often, Marfan can have really bad effects on your heart and aorta)
I'm bitter.

i'm really happy for him! i remember when they called his name on Draft Night, as the NBA's pick or something like that. It was such a nice move, very classy from Silver and the NBA.

He will probably start off in the D-League or Summer League or somewhere like that. Gary Washburn tweeted today that since he never withdrew from the NBA draft in '14, he can't technically enter his name in the draft in '17, if some team were to pick him in the second round or something like that.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about
