Al tutored and mentored Karl Towns on the Dominican national team. Now he needs to mentor Town's on the path to the Garden. Don't resign in Minnesota Town's you will be the next Garnett if you do.

Imagine Town's on this team now. Aside from having experience, hrs everything we need. In a year and a half when it's clear Town's wants out of Minnesota we should be ready to pounce.

That's up to him. He can be an idiot like Anthony Davis, and have a horrible team every year. Or he can compete for titles every year by age 25 if he came here.

I'll settle for the Texas connection between Bradley and Durant.

Or the Kentucky connection between James Young and Boogie, haha.

He and Davis are "idiots" for staying with the team that drafted them despite being bad, but I guarantee if Pierce had left under similar circumstances you would hate him for not being loyal.

KAT isn't gonna leave Minnesota for a long time, just accept it and move on
I'm bitter.

It's not "up to him."  Once his rookie contract expires, the Wolves can, and will, match any contract offered.

"A decade" is a bit of an exaggeration, though; we should be able to make a play for him around 2024.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism

He can 'Greg Monroe' his way out of town, but it is too risky given the injury possibilities.

Unfortunately, we won't ever likely get a look at prime Towns in Celtic Green; hopefully Jaylen can become our next future superstar and other teams can start threads about somehow acquiring him.

We should use the Avery Bradley/Lebron James connection to get Lebron to come here when he is available.

What connection? Well, Avery played with Pierce who mentored Al Jefferson who was great friends with Delonte West who dated Lebron's mom so clearly, Lebron should be playing in green pretty soon.

Is that 4 or 5 degrees of separation?

Will Smith will come up in the discussion soon!

TP, nick and thanks for the laugh.

Monroe wasn't offered a MAX extension.  KAT will get his MAX extension after his 3rd season and won't even hit free agency.
