Tanking paying off in Philly, LA and Minny.  I credit Philly with the most flagrant and successful tanking.  I'd trade rosters with them in a nanosecond.    Embiid is not as can't  miss as Towns or Davis due to health reasons but that's splitting hairs -- he's probably going to dominate.  With Simmons, Noel, JO, Saric and the 2 prospects they'll get in 2017, they'll have talent galore.   With smart trades, they should be battling Lebron in 3 years (if he's still Lebron).  C's need Jaylen Brown to become Michael Jordan to be where Sixers will be -- if they stay healthy,

Great post Lar.  So this question comes to mind for everyone:  If Embiid is can't miss superstar, why would the Celtics do ANYTHING to help them in a trade?  It's not like either Okafor or Noel is going to push the Celtics over the top, IMO.

All about windows.  the signing of Horford indicates that Boston is trying to win now.  Philly won't win now, so if Boston can increase their odds during their current window, they should.
